Perhaps the question in the title should be whether such unbiased news reporting was ever possible. Startling Discovery I made recently
I received last week a cast from the Patterson/Gimlin Movie which measures 14.5 inches and is about 6 inches wide at the ball of the foot. I was examining it closely, and found a startling feature in it-there appeared to be some sort of bump behind the big toe which corresponds to a bone behind the toe like what humans have in their feet. I do not know if I am the first ro make this discovery, but I think it is a significant find, and shifted me from 90% belief in the film to 98%. This was a pretty good show, despite a bit too long of a focus on the Patterson/Gimlin Movie for about the first 20 minutes, but finally they got to their guest Charlette Lefevre from the Seattle Museum of Mysteries, who discussed such things as mysteries in the area, such as D.B. Cooper, ghosts and local Bigfoot mysteries, including the Skookum Cast, which Charlette thinks could be of an elk. They also read an e-mail I sent in regarding a cast I have from the P/G Movie filmsite which has a bump behind the big toe. All in all, it was not too bad a show, and I enjoyed it. This was a great show, with D.W. Lee from Mid-America Bigfoot Research Center, who discussed his organization and research, as well as some interesting evidence they have gathered in the field. Review: The Bigfoot Mystery 2-17-08
This was a great program, with myself and Bill Green as Darin and JC's guests, and we kind of discussed the gamut of topics, from footprints to sightings to casts with dermal ridges in them to videos and photos. A fellow named Wes also called in and recounted his sighting from when he was younger, which was a fascinating story. JC also discussed the activity in his area in the Four Corners area in Arizona, including finding footprints with dermal ridges and taking at least one video of a possible Sasquatch. This was a great show, with the first hour being devoted to movie news and reviews with Scott Hackenslash, who discussed upcoming films, including the new Indiana Jones Movie, as well as the next Star Trek prequel, which has been pushed back to 2009, more than a year away. He discussed about the upcoming Star Wars Clone Wars feature-length animated film, as well as the live-action Star Wars television series which will premiere in the fall of '09. This volume, released 20 years ago and pre-Internet, is a very invaluable resource on finding information on articles, Television shows and documentaries, Movies and Newspaper articles, and is quite meticulous. There are movies and TV shows even I have never heard of listed, as well as articles that are rare and hard to find. It is comprehensive, tactful, complete. T.J. was trying to get back to me, but I have not heard back from him regarding me and some comments I had made on Squatch Detective Radio in which I said Steve was hooked up with a certain controversial individual. I did not name that individual, but of course it was you I was talking about. Well, sometimes, people get in my ear and sit me down (so to speak) and tell me that I should be researching Bigfoot, NOT other Bigfooters. Up until recently, I didn't listen. Well, since I have been let go from the Sasquatch Experience as co-host due to some controversy surrounding an unrelated matter, I have had to sit down and listen to those voices in my head, and the voices of others, telling me to research these mysterious hairy bipeds, NOT what Joe Blow or Jane Doe is doing. I have finally come to the realization that I need to research BIGFOOT, not research Tom Biscardi, not Janice Carter, not Bullet Maker, not Steve Kulls, not Billy Willard, not Dave and Penny Houston, not TJ, not JavaBob or anyone else in the Bigfoot Community. And I came to realize that I need to quit saying, "Oh, so-and-so is controversial," "He/she did such-and-such," "He/she is not credible because of this, that or the other." That, FINALLY, is OVER for me. I am in this to research large hairy bipeds and have fun doing it, not to worry about everybody else. Two of the main people who got in my ear giving me great advice are Sean Forker and Eric Altman, who don't really worry about what people think of them and their associations. See, Tom, I get it now. I fully understand. Now that I am no longer co-host of the SE, I feel so free and non-obligated. In fact, I feel better and more optimistic about the future of Bigfoot research than I have in a long time, to be quite honest. I want you to know, Tom, that if you are ever in this area at any time, my home is open to you and your team should you come to visit. And I am going to give you my phone number-it's Phone Number removed for privacy reasons. Actually, I may not be co-host of the SE anymore, but I am not closing the door on doing my own show. I am hoping to start it up this Summer, and it will cover ALL aspects of Cryptozoology, which I don't think there is a show on Blog Talk Radio which covers strictly Cryptozoology, so mine would be the first. I am titling it HBM's Crypto-Corner, (HBM is my initials) and it will start out for the first three months as a monthly special, hopefully Sunday nights at 10:00 EST/9:00 Central, then progress to bi-weekly, and finally weekly. It will kind of be the Monsterquest of Blog Talk Radio. And although I will have some guests in the world of Cryptids, I will not focus on who is controversial and who isn't or all that BS. I will let those Bigfooters and Cryptozoologists who have no life other than the forums and blogs and things like that waste their lives focusing on researchers and NOT research. Review: Sasquatch Triangle 2-14-08
This was a rather interesting show, being my last as producer on the show, with unscheduled guest Bill Green (Thomas Steenburg and Bobbie Short could not make it), but there was bleed from another show on BTR coming through our phone (but the listeners could not hear it). Bill was asked about how he got into Bigfooting, and also about his sighting and his research. Don also discussed the upcoming 20th-Annual Ohio Bigfoot Conference, as well as some of his research. I discussed how I got into Bigfooting, as well as my sightings and things of that nature. Don wished me all the best (thanks, Don), and I wish him the same. New Crypto series coming to Blog Talk Radio this Summer!!!!!!
Since I have been let go from the Sasquatch Experience (which may seem like a negative, but I am going to turn it into a positive), I am going to take some time off, and then jump back into it sometime this Summer with a new show, called HBM's Crypto-Corner which will cover ALL aspects of Cryptozoology. It may start out as a monthly special for about the first 3 months, but then I will progress to every two weeks, then finally a weekly thing. I will attempt to schedule it for Sunday nights at 10:00 EST/9:00 Central on Blog Talk Radio. I appreciate all the support from those who have been worried about me after my departure from the SE, but I will be fine, and I harbor no hard feelings for Sean and James, and wish them nothing but success in their future endeavors. I will make three solemn promises to you all-no Ramen Noodle-eating, no cats in my lap or bathroom breaks during the show, LOL See you all in my Crypto-Corner this Summer!!!!!!

This is the Onion Mountain Cast, not very large (only about 13 1/2 inches long), but there are friction or dermal ridges running down the right side of the cast. They look great under a magnifying glass, and very convincing, despite some of the recent experiments from Matt Crowley. Really nice cast.
