Investigate Everything Assume Nothing Tim got interested in this field by chance or by run in you could say. When he found out that the things that happened to him were supposedly Bigfoot related, Tim started investigating further into the strange and unexplainable things that happened. Regarding the outdoors as a retreat, he was a staunch unbeliever of the phenomenon of Bigfoot. Only when searching through all the possibilities and months of intensive Internet research, did he begin to suspect such an animal existed.Tim never expected to get as involved as he has today but it has become a quest for him to see one. His goal is to see one in person but also to try and capture evidence to help others believe. Toby’s beginnings began in childhood when he watched a sasquatch movie in the 70’s.From that point on, he tried to find anything he could on the subject.Once Toby was introduced to the Internet, the subject took on a whole new dimension. www.wisconsinbigfoot.com was created, along with the Squatch Inc. forums.Toby was introduced to the BF community and began to participate in investigations and research outings.Since Toby started this endeavor he has found a new and exciting way to spend time in the woods. He claims you can never have too many excuses to get outside and enjoy Mother Nature. “ I have also been extremely privileged to meet and work with people who I now call my friends.” Squatch Inc. is an organization made up of a small number of individuals with one goal in mind, to document this creature we know as Bigfoot. Our quest involves researching theories, investigating reports, and analyzing data. And as always, we encourage you to please tune in and support great research.

What's in the waters of Lake Worth Lagoon in Florida? Whatever it was, it was caught on videotape and dubbed the "Muck Monster." The problem is the video doesn't show anything breaking the water, so it could be anything, most likely something rather mundane. In another what's-in-the-lake story, the observation of large waves and a swirling motion in Twin Cities Lake, Minnesota, draws out the UFO investigators this time in UFO Experts Investigate Mystery on Twin Cities Lake.

In recent years, Tylosaurus has been one of the more fanciful suggestions for the origins of reports of sea monsters. In this guest blog contributor Chema tackles the question, “Did Tylosaurus have a crest or not?” The implications for cryptozoology, in understanding the evolution and development of popular cultural imagery, are insightful. The Wolf Woman of Mobile Alabama The Paranormal Pastor
Dating back to early 1970s in the Mobile, Alabama area, a "wolf-woman" was reported extensively by several residents startled and confused by what they say they witnessed. Described as possessing a beautiful woman's face and upper body attached to a wolf's body, the unknown creature was witnessed over a week-long period, yet harmed no one. Although no stranger to folklore, the werewolf or "skinwalker," is a legendary creature that has the ability to change into animal form through sorcery or evil means thus creating the reputation it enjoys today. But a more reasonable explanation may lie within a report filed in the same area in the late 1800s.

News of a Bigfoot information project has been revealed by Michael Esordi of the online Bigfoot Museum. Visitors to the site can find a trove of information on all things Bigfoot with upcoming news and events scheduled by the field researchers and community. And, inspired by recent sightings of the mighty wood-ape, behold the new Silverton Bigfoot Museum. Then there's the not-to-be-missed International Cryptozoology Museum, of course.

A new analysis by Australian and Indonesian scientists indicates that Homo floresiensis, the tiny human-like creature discovered on the Indonesian island of Flores in 2004 and nicknamed the Hobbit, is not a deformed modern human, as some critics have claimed, but the small-brained, long-armed biped may actually have been the first human-like creature to walk out of Africa. Previously researchers suspected that these Hobbits had descended from Homo erectus but had shrunk over time because of their confinement on an island.

Review: Bigfoot Quest 8-18-09

This was a pretty terrific call-in show, with Bob and Mike hosting calls from myself and Bill Green, who asked various questions (I asked Mike about recent technology being used in the field; Bill asked quite a few questions on research and other things). Ted P called in as well and talked about helping out with research areas in New York, and Connie Gilbert called in and talked about Bigfoot. Dunno what Bob and Mike have planned for next week, but it begins at 9:00 EST/8:00 Central. And as always, we encourage you to please tune in and support great research.

The Chemosit, or Nandi bear, of East African legend, has a fearsome reputation that has endured to this day in the local communities. Not thought to be a bear by definition, the legendary mystery animal was rumored to eat the brains of its victims and display a strong savagery that struck fear in hunters. Same can also be said of the Mngwa, a reportedly large cat like creature known for killing unwary tribesmen and terrorizing fearful villagers. But what to make of their "disappearance"? Since the 1920s, no reports of the Mngwa have been surfaced. Do these creatures, possibly misidentified abnormalities of very well known predators, still stalk the wilds of Africa? Or were they the amalgamation of folklore and fear? In other cryptozoology news, Confessions of a Skeptic: The Patterson Paradox and More Bridgewater Bigfoot Followup.

Loren Coleman finds two recent reports of the phantom clown phenomenon: clowns being seen, children being threatened with kidnapping, then the clowns seemingly vanish. Both took place the first week of August. One comes from Ardmore Trail, Indiana and the other comes from Ardmore, Oklahoma. What name game is behind “Ardmore”? Says Coleman: "The name Ardmore is a Gaelic word signifying high grounds or hills. John A. Keel would often point out that hilltops (literally the 'keels' of the high grounds) were the best places to observe Forteana." Huge irregular boulders that look like chairs often have legends around them and are found around the world. This "furniture" is often said to be possessed by strange forces and are often referred to as "Devil's Chairs." A photo of one in the Mary Immaculate Cemetery of Kirksville, Missouri is shown.
Outdoor guide Ken Maurer of the Sunbury, Pennsylvania’s The Daily Item recalls a large creature that he saw swimming in the Susquehanna River. Others apparently have also seen the five- or six-foot-long creature. Another watery mystery in Mississippi Mystery On The Move.
