Nite Callers Tomorrow...

Laurie, Lauren and Luke will welcome Paranormalist/Author Bill Bean (Dark Force) beginning at 7:00 EST/6:00 Central. And as always, we encourage you to please tune in and support great research.
Will we soon be able to add another location to the known habitat of the prehistoric coelacanth, considered by many researchers to be a "living fossil"? If so, the huge fish found floating in the Ganges River near Calcutta, India, would be the largest ever recorded. However, the ever alert Loren Coleman says the photograph accompanying the report doesn't show a coelacanth. So what kind of fish is this? With photo and other images. Meanwhile, in one we missed a week ago, Dr. Karl Shuker offers Shan Hai Jin - An Ancient Chinese Wonder Book. Elsewhere, actions of some bovines in Switzerland are puzzling officials, as reported, with photo, in Police Baffled as Dozens of 'Suicidal' Cows Throw Themselves Off Cliff in the Alps.

Rene's Film Cryptomundo
The word was that M. K. Davis had found something remarkable, that people would be shocked when he showed them what he’s found, and that he and others would shake the Bigfoot world with their next “release.” But the reality is different. If you want to know who, what, where and when, here is John Green's reply. Also on Cryptomundo: Mass Monster Mash, Oklahoma Bigfoot, and In Search Of Moby Dick.

Review: Sasquatch Triangle 8-26-09

This was a pretty terrific show, with Eric Altman, who discussed his recent research into the Bigfoot question in Pennsylvania. He and Don discussed things such as techniques in the field, Eric's possible sighting in October 2008 at Salt Fork State Park and other subjects. I called in and asked Eric and Don their opinion of some recent happenings with a certain individual making outrageous claims about a certain piece of film, and Tom Yamarone called in and talked a little about some recent happenings in California. Don has planned, in two weeks, to have the two guys from Squatch Inc. on the show, 9:00 EST/8:00 Central. And as always, we encourage you to please tune in and support great research.

Old friends and new – Beachfoot 2009 | Oregon Bigfoot Blog

Google is not doing cryptozoology research, but fans of Nessie are using Google Earth images to get evidence of the legendary creature. Adrian Shine, a researcher on the Loch Ness project, called the new images "really intriguing" and said they deserved further study. But others say it's just a boat.

Review: Bigfoot Quest 8-25-09

This was a pretty terrific show, with guest Bill Munns, who discussed his work and research on the Patterson/Gimlin Film and also the work he has done with the computer and software used in his work. He discussed much the same things that were covered on the recent Monsterquest episode he appeared on as well. I called in and asked Bill if he was familiar with the work Reuben Steindorf of Vision Realm Entertainment did on kinetics and the skeletal overlay of "Patty" and if Bill will be pursuing the same avenue. He said he is. I also asked him if he was able to do any work with current photos of the film site and put together in a panorama (he is not, not with current photos of the site). He is hoping to be able to go to the site itself at some point to photograph it and do some work on that. Not sure what Bob and Mike have planned for next week, but it begins at 9:00 EST/8:00 Central. And as always, we encourage to please tune in and support great research.

Cryptomundo » Massacre Mania Continues

M. K. Davis retired from the Bigfoot field, at least twice, early in 2007 and 2008. But like Bret Favre, you can’t believe everything you hear from some people, can you? Guess what? Davis is back. Each time his claims for what he sees in the Patterson-Gimlin footage he “analyzes” and the associated images become more and more bizarre. And there's more in Massacre Mania Continues. Elsewhere, Speeder Nabbed Chasing, Ah, Bigfoot.

Review: Nite Callers 8-23-09

This was a pretty terrific show, with guests TC Jr. and Toby of Squatch Inc., who discussed their research and their beginnings in research, as well as their respective states Wisconsin and Minnesota and the activity they have investigated in both those states. Bill and I called in and asked various questions (Bill more questions than me). Next Sunday, Nite Callers takes a break from Bigfoot and delves into ghost territory with guest one of my good friends Bill Bean (Dark Force), 7:00 EST/6:00 Central. And as always, we encourage you to please tune in and support great research.

For four years, Nick Redfern lived near White Rock Lake in Texas. The lake has nine miles of shoreline and is home to all sorts of mammals and reptiles. Redfern was the lightning rod for all sorts of strange stories in the area, including one of a zombie-like creature that came out of the water in front of a witness who described seeing, says Redern, a woman dressed in dark rags, with "long black hair, deathly white skin, and her soulless eyes were utterly jet-black. Dirty water dripped from her mud-encrusted locks and she moved slowly towards him with a maniacal grin on her face..." Sounds like a case for 'Paranormal Cops' coming this fall on A&E.
