Review: Beyond The Edge Radio 12-14-07

This was certainly a more unusual and different show, with 4th Floor Pictures Producer/Director/Writer Ryan Cavalline, who discussed some of his past projects such as Dead Body Man, Day of the Ax, Rotting Souls and other colorfully-titled projects he has been involved with. Ryan believes in Boobs and Gore for his projects. He also discussed his upcoming new film Dead Body Man Chronicles, which he is hoping will have its world premiere in the Spring of '08. The second hour had some rather interesting characters call in, mainly from Ryan's movies. Colorful characters such as Suzie, Earl The Meat Man, Willie the Serial Killer and Denny called in and made the second hour quite lively. I called in and asked Ryan about his influences, as well as his opinion of the spate of PG-13-rated Horror Movies. I actually won a DVD of Dead Body Man as well, and Craig Hines and Bill Green won DVDs as well. It was a very unusual but very fun show. The next program is kind of a Year In Review for the SQuatchMEDIA Productions family, with Sean and Eric, James Baker and Bill Bean, and you never know who else might be dropping by, next Friday at 9:00 EST/8:00 Central at the link to the right. And as always, we do encourage you to please tune in and support great research.

Review: Let's Talk Bigfoot! 12-12-07

This was a wonderful program, with Mr. Thomas Steenburg as the guest and Teresa back in the co-host chair. He discussed his research and reports in Canada and also the Pacific Northwest, as well as the recent Monsterquest episode on Sasquatch Attack and the DNA results which were examined of that. Discussion was also made of the question of aggression in the Sasquatch, and Steenburg told of aggression in other animals as compared to Sasquatch. Steenburg also tells of his possible sighting in 2003 after dark, as well as an attack by a grizzly on himself. It was a wonderful show, and Melissa and Teresa continue to have one of the best programs out there. Their next guest will be author Lee Murphy, next Wednesday at 10:00 EST/9:00 Central at the link to the right. As always, we encourage you to please tune in and support great research.

Review: Monsterquest 12-12-07

This show examined melanistic big cats similar to mountain lions, only black in color. An Emil McCain is interviewed about his impressions on it, and a fellow named David Johnson shows his photos of a large black cat. Scott Lope, a director for a Big Cat preserve in Florida, examines the photos and believes it to be a domestic. Heidi Bailey, a biologist from Texas, agrees with Lope's findings. Several eyewitnesses are interviewed, from Oklahoma, Texas and Minnesota. A farmer in Choctaw, Oklahoma is interviewed regarding losing several livestock items on his farm due to a large black cat. A wildlife expert from the Sooner State is of the opinion that the cats are not black.
A fellow named Eric Atkison walks his fence line every night with a large spotlight and rifle with hollow-point bullets. He had a 250-pound Llama killed by an alleged large black cat. Eric finds a large cat track while out on his nightly walk. It is believed that the black cats might be black leopards. A professor at Johns Hopkins University believes large black cats are in people's heads. A farmer close to Atkison, Dale Smith, is also losing livestock to a large black "mountain lion". Smith and Atkison band together to try to hunt down the cat. A videotape taken in West Virginia of an alleged black cat is examined and determined to be inconclusive but interesting. There is some DNA found and sent to the mohawked Todd Disotell, who examines the evidence and finds-well, watch the encore for yourself to see. It was a fairly good episode. The next Monsterquest will deal with Giant Fish, next Wednesday at 10:00 EST/9:00 Central on the History Channel. Check local listings for time and channel.
More Strange Animal Sightings.

Lions in the Suburbs December 12 at 10PM Attacks by mountain lions make headlines across the U.S. But some people say they are seeing something else...large black cats. From Texas to Minnesota to West Virginia, MonsterQuest will follow the eyewitness accounts and physical evidence of these demon cats. Pictures and law enforcement encounters prove a big black cat is out there but what is it? While they resemble a mountain lion, there is no such thing as a black mountain lion. Bones from a carcass, eyewitnesses claim was a huge black cat, will be put to the DNA test.

Review: Bigfoot Quest 12-11-07

This was a pretty good show, with new permanent co-hosts Mike Killen and Chris Julian, who helped interview Doug Bilby (AKA Bullet Maker of the Mid-America Bigfoot Research Center) who discussed activity on his property in Oklahoma, as well as photos taken with game cams of possible 'Squatches. Randy (don't remember his last name) called in and talked about the MABRC and the things he has witnessed on Doug's property, as well as the research he and Doug and others in the MABRC have done. I called in to ask where the photos of possible 'Squatches could be found online. It was a good show. The next show will be the final one of 2007, with guest Billy Willard, next Tuesday at 9:00 EST/8:00 Central at the link to the right. As always, we encourage you to please tune in and support great research.

M.K. Davis has been chosen as the Bigfoot Times' 2007 Bigfooter of The Year, and it could not have gone to a more deserving recipient. There may be those who disagree with M.K.'s findings (and I do not agree with ALL his findings), but he has been a pioneer in the studies of the Patterson/Gimlin Movie despite all the nay-sayers, and is well-deserving of this honor. I send out a hearty congratulations to my friend M.K. Davis!!!!!!

The bigger bones have been confirmed as those of a Plesiosaur – one of the first kinds of extinct animal known to science, which resemble Nessie, the Loch Ness Monster.

Review: Squatch Detective Radio 12-10-07

This was a wonderful show, with myself, Sean Forker, Bill Green and Darin Richardson as roundtable discussion guests. We discussed such things as DNA, the kill/no-kill issue, some of the things found on expedition by Steve and the team he is with and other things. There was discussion and debate about a cow which was found killed by something in Alabama, with a broken neck and dislocated jaw. Don Keating called in and debated the dead cow issue with Steve and the rest of the panel, but was very respectful. Some thought Steve sounded a bit perturbed, but he sounded fine to me. Anyway, great show. Don't know what's on the schedule for next week, but it should be a good one, 9:00 EST/8:00 Central at the link to the right. As always, we do encourage you to please tune in and support great research.

Review: The Sasquatch Experience 12-9-07

This was a wonderful show, with our special guest co-host Bill Green, and our guests Melissa Hovey and Monica Rawlins, who discussed the Monsterquest episode they were on, as well as the Texas Bigfoot Conference, their field research, the release date of Southern Fried Bigfoot, whether the killing of a Bigfoot would solve or deepen the mystery and other subjects. Melissa and Monica gave some behind the scenes tidbits from the Monsterquest episode, as well as their research and what they did for that episode. This was a terrific show, full of great information. Next Sunday is our last live show of the year, with guest Eric Altman, who will discuss a recent expedition as well as a Year-In-Review discussion.
