Jay Cooney takes another look at the 2007 Jacobs trail cam photos which seem to show a chimpanzee, Bigfoot or a bear depending on how hard you squint and which way you tilt your head. We've never thought it was a bear but we aren't convinced it's Bigfoot either. This Aiken Standard columnist asks and then answers his own question regarding Bigfoot-Why doesn't Africa, home to millions of other huge animal species, also have Bigfoot? His answer is obvious when you think about it, Africa doesn't need Bigfoot becaus it has plenty of its own good-sized predators like lions and rhinos to fill the position. Meanwhile, the always dependable Nick Redfern brings us tales from a state of savagery, aka late 19th century Texas when big cats roamed the land and struck fear into the hearts of ranchers...or at least startled some of them.
