Podcast Review: MonsterTalk Number 32

This was a very interesting podcast, with guest Daniel Perez who discussed the controversial Skookum Cast and his assessments of it being an elk and not of a Sasquatch, as has been asserted by some. Daniel discussed his interview with Derek Randles for the September 2010 Bigfoot Times newsletter which promoted the proponent side of the argument. Daniel followed it up in the October issue with a skeptical look at the cast, which seems to be the scientific method-present one side of the argument, then represent the other in the following issue. One of the co-hosts, Benjamin Radford, had attempted to ask permission to examine the cast, but was denied by Matt Moneymaker. Daniel also mentioned Dr. Anton Wreblewski who was also wanting to examine the cast but he too was denied (Radford was allowed to examine it by Rick Noll, the caretaker of the cast). Dr. Wreblewski posted on the Bigfoot Forums site that in his opinion the Cast showed a wallowing elk, and he based this on the fact that there were no Sasquatch tracks leading up to or away from the wallow area (which is true). Anyway, a really good podcast, 4 1/2 out of 5 stars.
