Loren Coleman finds two recent reports of the phantom clown phenomenon: clowns being seen, children being threatened with kidnapping, then the clowns seemingly vanish. Both took place the first week of August. One comes from Ardmore Trail, Indiana and the other comes from Ardmore, Oklahoma. What name game is behind “Ardmore”? Says Coleman: "The name Ardmore is a Gaelic word signifying high grounds or hills. John A. Keel would often point out that hilltops (literally the 'keels' of the high grounds) were the best places to observe Forteana."
