This was a really terrific show, despite some technical issues, with guest Abe Del Rio (Elusive1) who discussed research in his home state of Minnesota, where he researches with a fellow named as TheFirstBillyJack and a fellow named Tim (TCSJR), as well as his opinions on various topics in the Bigfoot field. Mapping technology is being used to determine a chart of eyewitness accounts since October 20, 1967, by Frank Orr, a GIS specialist

The mapping is done based on average rainfall and its correlation

Casts are examined by Dr. Meldrum on the program in his usual attention to detail

The Freeman footage is examined next, and given an endorsement by Meldrum

Sedlik attempts to clean up the image to examine it properly

The helicopter team attempts to land near the P/g Filmsite, but it seems impossible due to excessive snow

They land close to the film site and attempt to hike into the site, but that is abandoned

Munns decides to instead do a photogrammetry examination of the site via photos

Based on the work he did with photogrammetry, he determines the height of the creature, along with the fact that Patterson used a 15-MM lens on his camera

Munns then builds 5 different heads to determine the actual head shape of "Patty"

He conducts experiments with the five heads and comes to a startling conclusion

Two witnesses from Wenatchee, Washington saw a Sasquatch there in 1976

The two fired shots over the creature's head, and frightened it off

Meldrum is seen examining tracks which show a mid-tarsal break

Meldrum believes this finding may the most significant since the Bossburg Cripple

He consults an orthopedic surgeon, David Howe, on his opinion on the Cripplefoot casts

Dr. Begun is skeptical, especially of the P/G Film

Munns is of the opinion that the film is real, using an overlay

An experiment is conducted with the five shaped heads to see if motion blur could account for the different shapes of the head shown in the film

it is shot on the same type of camera Patterson used and also on a High-Definition video camera

Dr. Howe believes the Cripplefoot cast shows a fracture, which indicates it is real and not hoaxed

Dr. Sedlik is on the fence on the P/G Film

Munns cannot get a human to fit into the proportions on "Patty"

His conclusion is that it is real

The various experts interviewed were split, but open-minded

Review: Sasquatch Watch Radio 7-6-09

This was a rather, shall we say, interesting show, with guest Tom Burnette, who made some rather interesting claims of having a supposed Sasquatch skull and remains and claims of frequent sightings and possible habituation in his home state of North Carolina. He also discussed his new book Nature's Secret Agents which has more of the same fantastic claims. Several folks called in, including Nancy S., Smiter (who seemed to be dubious of Tom's claims-SMITER was dubious of someone else's claims!) and myself and Bill Green (I asked Tom if he was sure his skull was from a Sasquatch or possibly of an escaped ape of some sort, and also when he mentioned that a DNA sample was taken and found not to match any known animal, I asked him if there was the possibility of deteroriation in the sample). Nite Callers was great, with guest wildlife naturalist Larry Battson, who discussed his research as well as his recent lecture for the USF&WS. I called in and asked Larry how his wildlife experience fits in with his Sasquatch research, which he answered terrifically. Over on Beyond The Edge Radio, the guest was Henry Franzoni, who discussed a good deal about his opinions of what Bigfoot is based on his own experiences, where he claims that Bigfoot is telepathic and is able to cause engines to blow out. I called in and asked Henry if he was familiar with the work of Dave Paulides and his books and that the investigations he conducted revealed that people had heard what sounded like Native American language coming from the forest and that Native American elders said that if a Sasquatch is spoken to in Native language that it understands it. Chupacabras: A Blast from the Past Inexplicata

Scott Corrales unearths a relatively ancient 3.5-inch computer disk with information from a 1993 newspaper article that describes the alleged chupacabras predations in Puerto Rico two years prior to the usually accepted date of their beginning. But the chupacabras story isn't the only report of livestock attacks attracting Corrales' attention, as seen in the cattle mutilations reported in Argentina: Nogoya, 2002.

Book Review: Tribal Bigfoot by David Paulides, with illustrations by Harvey Pratt

Better than The Hoopa Project!!!

We have all heard how a movie sequel is usually better than the original. The Empire Strikes Back, Godfather II, Transformers II. Well, in books, sometimes a sequel comes along that blows its predecessor away; that has happened with the new book Tribal Bigfoot. Those who read David's excellent original book last year (the Bigfoot Book of the Year 2008) know that there was a good deal of reports from the Hoopa reservation in Northwest California. For Tribal, David revisits the NW part of the Golden State, by going to Del Norte, Siskiyou, Humboldt and Trinity Counties to investigate more reports that have been investigated by him and his team. He also revisits Hoopa by asking the witnesses who did not have sketches done for Project to have the sketches made by Harvey Pratt the famed forensic artist, which they are. But Paulides goes beyond NW California in this book; he also travels to the Sooner State of Oklahoma to interview eyewitnesses, as well as to The Land of 10,000 Lakes, Minnesota. Not only are there witnesses interviewed and sketches drawn of eyewitness accounts, but Paulides also comes to some startling conclusions as to the true nature of the Sasquatch, via DNA tests and just talking to the eyewitnesses and hearing their descriptions. The DNA tests yield some very surprising results, and Dave follows the evidence as he sees it to its conclusions-that Bigfoot is truly more human than ape, and that they have a language, according to reports he has investigated of witnesses hearing what sounds like Native American language coming from the woods, and also hearing from Native American elders that if a Native American speaks to a Sasquatch in their native tongue, the Sasquatch will understand it. I cannot recommend this book highly enough, and give it not 5, not 6, not even 9, but 10 stars!!!!!! Well-done, Dave and Harvey!!!!!!

When police searched the area, they found an obviously not-too-bright, 16-year-old male dressed in a gorilla-like costume.
