Review: Sasquatch Watch Radio 9-15-08
This was a terrific show, with the first half-hour being open-mic due to Don Keating, the scheduled guest, being unable to get on the show due to technical issues. Bill Green and I participated in the open-mic discussion and discussed things like the William Roe story, the Georgia Hoax just a bit (with a brilliant parody song of the old Gladys Knight and The Pips song Midnight Train To Georgia), as well as discussion on classic literature and other things. Don finally came on in the second half-hour and discussed the upcoming East Coast Bigfoot Conference, his radio show the Sasquatch Triangle, his 1985 sighting and whether or not there will be a 2009 Conference. Next week, Billy and DB have Luke Gross from Texas, beginning at 9:00 EST/8:00 Central at Sasquatch Watch Radio And as always, we encourage you to please tune in and support great research.
Review: Sci-Fi Investigates: Bigfoot TV-Press DVD
This production originally aired in October 2006, and focused on a group of investigators (Bill Doleman, Rich Dolan and Deborah DeBrydney) and a skeptical smart-aleck, Boston Rob Mariano, who seemed to poo-poo all the evidence presented by Dr. Henner Fahrenbach and Dr. Jeff Meldrum, such as footprints, tree twists and the Patterson/Gimlin Movie and the Memorial Day Footage. The presentation on this DVD is the same as the original broadcast, but there is more additional footage presented, such as an extended sequence with Rob Mariano in the Bigfoot suit he wore and did tests in, as well as segments on footprint casting and other aspects. I enjoyed the extended presentation of this episode much more than the original broadcast.

Wife Swap: Wanted Bigfoot Hunter Families Cryptomundo
The ABC-TV network show "Wife Swap" is attempting to locate "dynamic families" who actively seek information about Bigfoot. With that in mind, the Casting Producer for the show has contacted Loren Coleman, curator of the International Cryptozoology Museum, to aid in the search. If you're interested, use the contact information and be sure to mention Coleman's name. Your selection would mean a much-needed $1,000 donation to the museum from ABC. Elsewhere, a mythical creature of Scotland is explained in Awesome Or Off-Putting: The Big Grey Man of Ben MacDhui.

Review: Beyond The Edge Radio 9-12-08
This was a great and very funny show, which originally scheduled to have Diane Stocking as the guest, but Diane was unable to be reached, so Eric Altman called in to preview the East Coast Bigfoot Conference. I called in, and the whole show went downhill from there, with a lot of humor and laughs, and some funny comments from the chatroom. I laughed quite a bit, including laughing and coughing in people's ears (sorry about that, folks!). There was some Bigfoot talk, but a bit more humor. Next week, Sean and Monica are going to attempt to have Diane on in the first hour, then Billy Willard and Tom Lancaster on in the second hour, starting at 9:00 EST/8:00 Central at Beyond The Edge Radio And as always, we encourage you to please tune in and support great research.
Review: The Bill Green Show 9-12-08
This was a pretty good show, with Bill and Sean discussing various things, like new movies (recent and upcoming), as well as the recent happenings and new books in the Bigfoot field. There was discussion of new books such as The Hoopa Project and upcoming books from Hancock House. There was also a bit of discussion about the Georgia Hoax situation, but not too much, thankfully. There was also a good bit about sightings, as well. The show is moving to Sundays (not sure what time) at The Bill Green Show And as always, we encourage you to please tune in and support great research.
Seneca Sasquatch Cryptomundo
In a conversation about Bigfoot with an engineer who has worked for DuPont for 17 years, Loren Coleman learns that reports of Bigfoot are still coming in from Seneca, Illinois. But, he says, "What I learned that I haven’t seen in the usual reviews of this is that the actual concentrated area of the sightings is a former TNT manufacturing area for DuPont..." Just like the Mothman sightings in Point Pleasant, West Virginia. Also, listen to a just-posted interview with Adam Davies, author of Extreme Expeditions, about the latest findings on the Russian Bigfoot in More SUPER MEGA EXTREME Expeditions with Adam Davies!!!

Review: Sasquatch Triangle 9-11-08
This was a terrific show, with guest Doug Hajicek (Sasquatch: Legend Meets Science, Mysterious Encounters, Giganto: The Real King Kong, Monsterquest) who discussed the new season, as well as confirming that there would be a third season of MQ, and also that he is going to see about doing more shows internationally. Several folks called in, including myself, who asked Doug about the set of tracks he saw in the Arctic whether they were offset or in a straight line (they were in a straight line) and I also asked him if he was going to focus more on the Southern U.S. reports (he said he would). Mike Feltner, Linda and Joedy Cook also called in and asked Doug various questions. Don's guest next week is former Whitehall, New York police officer Brian Gosselin, who had a sighting in 1976, beginning at 9:00 EST/8:00 Central at The Sasquatch Triangle, Now On NowLive.com And as always, we encourage you to please tune in and support great research.

| Yahoo! News reports that photographs of the Okapi in the wild were taken in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. There were feared extinct or near extinction. [ Posted September 11, 2008, submitted by staff. Viewed 15 times. ] |
The elusive okapi, which is so secretive and rarely spotted that it once had a similar status to the mythical unicorn, has been photographed living in the jungle of the Democratic Republic of Congo by camera traps set up in the jungle by the Zoological Society of London and the Congolese Institute for Nature Conservation. Elsewhere, Ivan T. Sanderson: Great, Only Human.

Review: Destination Truth 9-10-08
This was a rather interesting look and search for the Orang Pendek on the island nation of Sumatra, with Josh interviewing a scientist stationed there for National Geographic. He also interviews locals, as well as Debbie Martyr who has been searching for the small bipedal creature for a long time, ever since seeing one. Many of the people he and his team talk to are believers of the creature, as the team heads to Pedang, Indonesia. Josh is told that the Orang Pendek apparently eats a fruit called durian, which is a spiny fruit not unlike pineapple. The team manages to arrive at their campsite by dark, where they set up surveillance and camera equipment. Some fresh scat is found on a rock beside a raging river. A durian is laid out as bait for an Orang Pendek, and Josh claims he sees movement in the forest. Josh and some members of his crew are in the jungle in the rain, and claim to see a pair of eyes of something. They pursue it, but do not find anything. A forecasted storm rolls in and the guys wait it out. After the rain lets up, the team makes a sweep of the jungle. More eyes are seen, as is a group of animals in thermal imaging. More is found, but not much in the way of proof. Still, I would give this one about 3 1/2 stars.
Bigfoot Sighted on Buck Flats Road Houston Today
In British Columbia, a woman hears something rattling the door handle. She opens the door and the dogs run out. When she looks at the side of the house, she sees a creature on two legs. “It was huge and it had long hair, not fur — kind of like the kind you see on an ox and a reddish brown, the colour of the trees that are killed by the pine beetle,” said the woman. Elsewhere, Georgians are asked their beliefs about Bigfoot,in the wake of the recent hoax: You’ve actually seen Bigfoot?
Rejecting The Minnesota Iceman Cryptomundo
A shocker. In light of the recent Georgia Bigfoot Hoax, Loren Coleman reverses his decades long support of the reality of the "Minnesota Iceman." It's time, he says, for cryptozoology and hominology to let go of this pipe dream. Also, Werewolves, Scarefest & Monster Mash and Mermaid Queen Has Died.
Destination Truth Tonight...
Josh Gates and the crew head to the island nation of Sumatra to hunt for the Orang Pendek beginning at 10:00 EST/9:00 Central on Sci-Fi. Check your local listings for time and channel.
Review: Bigfoot Quest 9-9-08
This was a pretty great show, with Dixie Banshee (Bear) discussing his research and also how he had had many encounters in different states (60-70!). Bill Green called in and asked his standard questions (but what show would be complete without Bill and his standard questions?) and Bear answered his questions very well. Dunno what Bob and Mike have planned for next week, but it begins at 9:00 EST/8:00 Central at Bigfoot Quest And as always, we encourage you to please tune in and support great research.

Nick Redfern's new column for this movie, comic, and game site introduces viewers to some cryptozoological reality: "You probably think that the werewolf is just a creature of fiction, fantasy and late-night campfire-tales, right? How very wrong you are, my friends!" Elsewhere, Nick Redfern calls attention to a tangental topic, Sandra Martin's excellent DVD series on Intuition. And if you're wondering what Nick Redfern has to do with Keith Olbermann, check out UFOs, Body Snatchers & Assorted Strange things.
Top Secret: Jet-flying Gorillas Forgetomori
A wonderful tale about early jet pilot hijinks at Edwards AFB (then called Muroc Army Airfield) in the early 1940s. A gorilla with big cigar protruding from his mouth and a derby hat on its head flying a P-38 and no one reported it? You can only see what you believe is possible. Also, More Shiny Saucers.
