An eyewitness, an Alaskan commercial fisherman well-versed in the sea creatures of the Alaskan coast, described a dark colored creature with a bill and feet like a platypus but six feet long or more. What could this experienced seaman have observed? With images. Also, Micah Hanks at The Gralien Report brings you up-to-date on recent experiments in New Humanzee Activity in the News, and Cabinet of Wonders tells about the creation of an online insect archive and helps you access the Linnaean Insect Collections.
Joe Beelart will speak concerning his theory behind the recent claims of a "Massacre at Bluff Creek," the controversial remarks indicating a possible slaughter of Bigfoot associated with the famed 1967 Patterson-Gimlin film. Beelart makes it clear that his talk will contain "no inflammatory comments" during Western Bigfoot Society meeting this Saturday, June 28. Monsterquest Tonight...

MonsterQuest : Giant Killer Snakes Airs on Wednesday June 25 09:00 PM EST/8:00 Central
Head deep into the Venezuela wilderness where there have been sightings of huge man-eating snakes--anaconda. For the first time ever an industrial acoustic sonar camera will be used to search for these monsters. The investigation will also search the Everglades of Florida where pet pythons have escaped and are multiplying and growing to huge sizes, preying on all kinds of animals, even swallowing a full grown alligator in one case. Could a human become their next victim?

Check your local listings for time and channel.

Review: Bigfoot Quest 6-24-08

This was a pretty great show, with guest Darren Lee of the Mid-America Bigfoot Research Center, who discussed his research, as well as the research of the MABRC, and some of the techniques used in the field. I called in along with Bill Green and asked him about what was new in the research they were doing, and Bill asked about weather patterns and any new sightings and things of that nature. Doug Bilby (Bulletmaker) also called in and gave support to D.W. Dunno what Bob and Mike have planned for next week, but it should be a good one, beginning at 9:00 EST/8:00 Central at Bigfoot Quest, Tuesday Nights at 9:00 EST/8:00 Central

You can also download past episodes there, as well as subscribe via iTunes. And as always, we encourage you to please tune in and support great research.

DVD Review: The Rock: The Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment

The latest DVD offering from World Wrestling Entertainment is a "great one," with matches between the man formerly known as The Rock, now simply Dwayne Johnson (Get Smart, The Scorpion King, Be Cool, The Rundown) and such WWE Superstars as Triple-H, Kurt Angle, The Undertaker, Booker T., Mankind (Mick Foley), Kane, Hollywood Hulk Hogan, the late Owen Hart, Shane McMahon, Chris Jericho and his most famed rivalry, that being with Stone Cold Steve Austin. He is a third-generation wrestler, following in the footsteps of his father "Soulman" Rocky Johnson and Grandfather "High Chief" Peter Maivia. In addition to great matches, his Hollywood career is also profiled, and we see a collection of some of the great promos and one-liners he was known best for, including his most famous catchphrases. I give this one a ***** out of ***** stars. Buy it, or the Rock will lay the Smackdown on your candy *ss. LOL

DVD Review Redux: 19th-Annual Ohio Bigfoot Conference

DVD Review: The 19th Annual Eastern Ohio Bigfoot Conference 2007

This event, held on Saturday, May 19th, 2007, featured speakers Tony Healy of Canberra, Australia, who discussed the Yowie phenomenon in the Land Down Under. His talk was a bit abbreviated on this DVD presentation, but we do get a feel for what he is looking into. The next speaker is Lorena C. from Camden, Ohio, who discusses the two sightings she has had close to her folks' property. Finally, filmmaker/producer Pat Holdbrook speaks about the film he produced based on M.K. Davis' work on the Patterson/Gimlin Movie, Bigfoot: An Encounter With Reality. Holdbrook also discusses his ongoing projects with One Step Beyond Reality, pertaining to Bigfoot, as well as more paranormal subjects. Healy and Holdbrook also take audience questions. The DVD ends with a question-and-answer session, as well as one lady coming up to give her eyewitness account. All in all, this is a really wonderful 2-hour presentation of a terrific Conference which gives a great insight to the research being done by independent investigators. I give this DVD 4 out of 5 stars. Excelsior, Don Keating!!!!!!!!!

DVD Review: 20th-Annual Ohio Bigfoot Conference

This DVD truly captures the essence of the event which took place on May 17th of this year, and really does a terrific job. The three speakers, Eric Altman, Jeff Meldrum and M.K. Davis give truly terrific presentations, and the video quality is pretty good, shot on Don Keating's video camera. The presenters can be heard very clearly, and the Powerpoint presentations are clearly visible on the screen. Don did a bang-up job on both the Conference itself and the DVD, and I hope there is another Conference next year. Great job as always, Don.

Editorial: Last word on the M.K. Davis Controversy (Re: The Massacre)

For the last nearly 6 weeks, one controversial theory has divided the Bigfoot Community into different factions, with the majority of the Community seeming to react with vitriol and venom to one particular individual in the Bigfoot Community, the man who is considered by some to be the authority on the Patterson/Gimlin Movie, and that is M.K. Davis. The theory? Well, M.K. proposed a speculative theory regarding a possible shooting and, well, for lack of a better word, a massacre of several Bigfoot individuals. This took flight especially after a certain filmmaker decided to release it to Cryptomundo, and the snowball rolled from there. This prompted a whole series of misunderstandings, including the fantastic claim that M.K. had said Gimlin shot Patty, which those who heard M.K. speak at the Ohio Bigfoot Conference know that he said nothing of the sort, and never so much as implied it. But because of one filmmaker, all of a sudden, M.K. was accused of saying that Gimlin shot Patty, and this caused M.K. to be a pariah to most of the Bigfoot Community, merely for expressing a theory, which M.K. told me personally was only one of a dozen possibilities. He never expressed the Massacre Theory as absolute fact, and some took it as that he did express it as fact, mainly because some parties in the Bigfoot Community were against M.K. and his theories from the very beginning and reacted as such. This whole controversy has caused so much venom and vitriol and nastiness that M.K. is getting out of Bigfooting. He is tired of all the BS and drama, which this author does not personally blame him for. There is nothing wrong with disagreeing with someone over their theories or doing a peer review, but if you are going to devote the majority of a radio show to it for weeks and weeks on end merely to bash an individual, or use your blog as a platform to continue to bash an individual for a theory, that is going a bit too far. This will be the last word from yours truly on this whole controversy, because quite frankly, I am ready to move on from it all, and I hope everyone else is too.

Update on Bigfoot Quest...

Bob and Mike will have as their guest Darren (D.W.) Lee from the Mid-America Bigfoot Research Center beginning at 9:00 EST/8:00 Central at Bigfoot Quest, Tuesday Nights at 9:00 EST/8:00 Central

And as always, we encourage you to please tune in and support great research.
Tom Biscardi is taking a team from Searching for Bigfoot, Inc, to Catskill, NY, following up on several reports that Bigfoot-type creatures, large and small, have been repeatedly sighted recently on some rural property. Key quote: "The details of these sightings...and sightings (to be) investigated in early July in North Carolina, were so specific and detailed, that we will be bringing some very sophisticated capture gear with us." Will Biscardi's team capture a Bigfoot? Elsewhere, an elusive bird, not Bigfoot, sparks the ventures of scientists in the Big Woods of eastern Arkansas as the Search Goes on for Elusive Woodpecker, while in Leicestershire, England, they're asking Is This a Panther Paw Print? Meanwhile, Loren Coleman at Cryptomundo thinks one of the world's rarest carnivores, an animal with mysterious links to the civets, genets and cats, deserves our attention for a moment, as he explains, with links and images, in Longing for Linsangs.

Reviews: The Bill Green Show/Squatch Detective Radio 6--23-08

Bill and Sean did a great job, kind of talking about subjects from the previous night's Sasquatch Experience show, and also discussing the recent Monsterquest episode on the Ohio Grassman. Indy called in and gave his two cents on a few things as well. It was a short, 30-minute show, but it was great. Bill and Sean return next Monday morning, at 11:00 EST/10:00 Central at The Bill Green Show, Monday Mornings at various times

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Over on Squatch Detective, Steve, Becky and Billy had some trouble for the first half-hour getting things going, but once they did, it was a doozy, with myself and Bill Green calling in, and I kind of told of rumors I had read on the 'Net about tension between Steve and Tom Biscardi, which are not true, and Bill asked Tom some questions, as well as Steve, and other folks called in, such as Dan Geer of Florida and also TJ Biscardi and other folks. I enjoyed the show. Dunno what the folks have planned for next Monday night, but it should be a doozy, beginning at 9:00 EST/8:00 Central at Squatchdetective Radio - BlogTalkRadio - Bigfoot, squatchdetective, Steve Kulls, Sasquatch, Bil

Bill knell talks with the daughter of the original Ghost Hunter, Hans Holzer. Alexandra Holzer, author of Growing Up Haunted: A Ghostly Memoir, has her own experiences with those who've crossed over, and, surprisingly, her take on these paranormal experiences doesn't always agree with her father. Meanwhile, a broadcaster has run afoul of regulations by allegedly "suggesting psychics could give life-changing advice" according to Ofcom Rules That ITV Breached Broadcast Code, probably because Ofcom doesn't know about The $10,000-a-Month Psychic. Also, investigators in the UK are set to look behind the walls of the Burnett Arms Hotel, a reportedly haunted establishment, as reported in Mystery of Coffin in Cellar to be Solved.
Skeptical commentary at Bigfoot Skepticism and Other BS in Roger Patterson's Bigfoot Casts has led to rebuttal from cryptozoologist and author Loren Coleman, who asks, "Do any of these debunkers do their homework?" Coleman demonstrates the "trophy mentality" of many early Bigfoot researchers that led them to clean up their plaster casts of Bigfoot tracks. Has the trophy mentality of the early researchers resulted in problems for today's investigators? With many photos.

Bill Green and Sean Forker will discuss the latest Bigfoot news, the latest movie news, the latest DVD news, the latest current world events, anything that comes to mind, beginning at 10:30 A.M. EST/9:30 Central at The Bill Green Show, Monday Mornings at various times

Review: The Bigfoot Mystery 6-22-08

This was a great show, with guest Richie from California, who discussed his research and encounters from last Summer in the Santa Cruz Mountains, as well as his association and meeting with Mike Rugg of the Bigfoot Discovery Museum and Project. He also discussed about other sightings he has heard about, and took calls from Bill Green and Thomas (Smiter) and did a tremendous job. Next week, The Bigfoot Mystery celebrates one year on the air, with a call-in/open-mic show, beginning at 7:00 EST/6:00 Central at The Bigfoot Mystery, Sunday evenings at 7:00 EST/6:00 Central

You can also download past episodes there, as well as subscribe via iTunes. And as always, we encourage you to please tune in and support great research.

Are these photos of a footprint I found by our canal?

I realize the footprint (if that is what it is) is rather hard to see, but it is there, beside my camera case and also beside my foot. It was human-sized, and appeared to have a heel and possibly a toe line across the top, but it was really hard to determine for certain. I only found one, and wish there had been more to correlate with the one possible track. It was beside a tree, and to be quite honest, it is hard to determine anything from it. Right now, I give it a 40% possibility of being a footprint, with 60% open to it not being a track. If I find anything else that correlates to it, I will report it here.

DVD Reviews: McMahon/Wrestlemania 24

In McMahon, the WWE explores the background of the owner/chairman of World Wrestling Entertainment, Vincent Kennedy McMahon, and goes into his background, his family life, his wife and kids and his charitable work. That is his Vince McMahon side. His "Mr. McMahon" character is also profiled, with feuds with Hulk Hogan, Zack Gowan, members of his own family (Shane, Stephanie, even his own wife Linda), Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, Triple-H and his most famous feud, Stone Cold Steve Austin. This DVD set profiles it all, and does a great job with it. I highly recommend this set to all who love to hate (or hate to love) the evil boss man of the WWE.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The 24th-Annual Sports Entertainment extravaganza gets a DVD set worthy of the event itself, which took place at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Florida, on March 30th of this year. Terrific matches such as the Money In The Bank Match, which featured as participants Chris Jericho, Shelton Benjamin, Mr. Kennedy, MVP (Montel Vontavious Porter), John Morrison, Carlito and winner C.M. Punk; A Boxer versus Wrestler Match, with Floyd Mayweather versus the Big Show; Brand Supremacy Match, with Smackdown's! Batista facing Raw's Umaga; a Playboy BunnyMania Lumberjack Match with several of the WWE Divas; a Career-Threatening Match with Shawn Michaels defeating "Nature Boy" Ric Flair, whose 35+Year career came to an end and not one, not two, but THREE Championship Matches, with Chavo Guerrero falling very quickly to the Big Red Monster, Kane, a WWE Triple-Threat Match, with Champion Randy Orton defending against Triple-H and John Cena and a World Heavyweight Championship Match, with Edge defending against the 15-0 Wrestlemania winning streak of the Phenom, the Undertaker, who added the World Heavyweight Championship and his 16th Wrestlemania victory to his belt notches. But, even if this were all that was on the set, it would be enough, but the WWE goes the extra mile and brings us the 2008 WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony, which inducts Jack and Jerry Brisco, Gordon Solie, Eddie Graham, Mae Young, High Chief Peter Maivia, Soulman Rocky Johnson and the one most anticipated, Nature Boy Ric Flair, who gave a very memorable hour-long speech. The Brisco brothers were inducted by John Bradshaw Layfield; Gordon Solie was inducted by Jim Ross; Eddie Graham was inducted by his son Mike; Mae Young was inducted by Mean Gene Okerlund; High Chief Peter Maivia was inducted by his wife and daughter; Rocky Johnson was inducted by his son, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Ric Flair was inducted by Triple-H. I highly, VERY highly, recommend this set.

Review: Beyond The Edge Radio 6-20-08

This was a terrific show, with guest Stan Gordon, who discussed the famous Kecksburg, Pennsylvania UFO crash, as well as the flap of Bigfoot/UFO sightings in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania in 1973-74. Bill Green and I called in and I asked about the Shag Harbor, Nova Scotia UFO crash, and Bill asked about Stan's impending book on Bigfoot, as well as about what these creatures do in nasty weather. But before Stan came on, the triumphant return of Scott Hackenslash was tonight, and he discussed the new Hulk, Indiana Jones and Iron Man movies, as well as upcoming films such as Get Smart (which opens this weekend) and other films. Dunno what is up in the continuing Paranormal Party of the Summer for next week, but it should be terrific, beginning at 9:00 EST/8:00 Central at Beyond The Edge Radio, Friday Nights at 9:00 EST/8:00 Central

More than one paranormal phenomenon is discussed in this article that mentions everything from ball lightning to the wailing and screaming of the spirits of those who perished in the 1908 Rhoads Opera House fire and are now interred at Fairview Cemetery in Berks County, PA. Meanwhile, in Kemnay, Scotland, the search is on for the remains of the former owner of the Burnett Arms Hotel. The ghost of former owner Maggie Duffton has reportedly haunted the place since 1934, and an event is planned to find her remains, as reported in Kemnay Ghost Sparks Search. Elsewhere, Mark Goldberg has some advice for those who would pursue the paranormal in I'm Not Afraid of Ghosts or the People Who Hunt Them.
In an episode of his Tales of the Weird, Mike Conley relates the details of William Roe's 1957 affidavit to Canadian authorities outlining his strange experience on Micah Mountain near the town of Tete Jaune Cache in British Columbia, Canada. According to Roe's sworn statement, he sat twenty feet away from a female Bigfoot-like creature and observed it for some time before it discovered his presence. There's a Russian version of Sasquatch, too, and the Centre for Fortean Zoology (CFZ) has a team ready to go investigate, as Nick Redfern reports in Tomorrow: The CFZ Quest for the Almasty Begins, with video report link, and follows up with a report of the perils the CFZ team could face in The Hazards of Monster-Hunting. Perhaps the next time the CFZ hits the cryptid trail, they'll take the lead of The Paranormal Pastor and trek to Africa's Burkina Faso to creep up on the cryptid known as The Creature in the Black Ravine. Meanwhile, big cat sightings and other evidence of large felids continues in the United Kingdom, as evidenced in Big Cat on the Prowl at Westhill and Was This Paw-print Left by a Tiger?

Cressie to Surface on Cable Nor'wester
The community of Robert's Arm in Newfoundland has welcomed a film crew gathering footage for a documentary for The History Channel. The subject of the documentary? "Cressie," the legendary creature said to inhabit Crescent Lake. How many cryptids are reported to be occupying the freshwater lakes and rivers of North America? While the next report doesn't mention freshwater cryptids, it doesn't take a lot of imagination to transfer the prevalence of cryptids in freshwaters to the chance of the same in the near limitless depths and spans of the saltwater environs, as remarked in Monsters of the Deep. Meanwhile, The Blogsquatcher makes a statement or two about the classification of Bigfoot in That's Not an Ape! That's a Man, Baby! Elsewhere, there's startling news from the state of Maryland, as Loren Coleman of Cryptomundo reports Bigfooter Bob Chance Indicted and, in a story that would appear to indicate that ornithologists are running out of names for our feathered friends, the "Nonggang babbler" has been identified, as noted in New Chinese Bird Species Discovered. With photo.

Review: Sasquatch Triangle 6-19-08

This was a great show, with guest Joedy Cook to discuss last night's Monsterquest. I was on the line for the show due to computer problems, but it was great from what I heard. Several things were discussed on the show pertaining to the TV program last evening, including the baboon skull, the helicopter with the thermal camera on it, the reports from Salt Fork State Park and other things. Terry and Treba Jahn were also part of the show, and called in and gave the show high marks, and Mike from Cincinnati also called in and gave his stamp of approval to the MQ show. Next week, Don brings back Mike Frizzell to the show, from the Enigma Project, beginning at 9:00 EST/8:00 Central at The Sasquatch Triangle, Now On NowLive.com

You can also subscribe via iTunes. And as always, we encourage you to please tune in and support great research.
