Cressie to Surface on Cable Nor'wester
The community of Robert's Arm in Newfoundland has welcomed a film crew gathering footage for a documentary for The History Channel. The subject of the documentary? "Cressie," the legendary creature said to inhabit Crescent Lake. How many cryptids are reported to be occupying the freshwater lakes and rivers of North America? While the next report doesn't mention freshwater cryptids, it doesn't take a lot of imagination to transfer the prevalence of cryptids in freshwaters to the chance of the same in the near limitless depths and spans of the saltwater environs, as remarked in Monsters of the Deep. Meanwhile, The Blogsquatcher makes a statement or two about the classification of Bigfoot in That's Not an Ape! That's a Man, Baby! Elsewhere, there's startling news from the state of Maryland, as Loren Coleman of Cryptomundo reports Bigfooter Bob Chance Indicted and, in a story that would appear to indicate that ornithologists are running out of names for our feathered friends, the "Nonggang babbler" has been identified, as noted in New Chinese Bird Species Discovered.
