Review: Sasquatch Watch Radio 6-1-09
This was a pretty terrific show, with guest Jeff Hilling, proprietor of PattersonFilm.com who discussed his longtime interest in the P/G Film, as well as his theories as to whether or not it is real. Several folks called in, including Irish Guy, who really made some great points about the special-effects industry and its suits which do not match up to "Patty." I called in and talked about the interview Bobbie Short conducted with John Chambers in 1997 where Chamber denied any involvement in making the suit for the P/G Film, and also asked Jeff if he was familiar with the work of Bill Munns (he was not) and I told him about the Munns report and the website. Ron from Tennessee also called in and discussed some things about the film. The last half of the show was devoted to field research as well. Next week, Billy and DB welcome Scott Herriott as their guest at 9:00 EST/8:00 Central. And as always, we encourage you to please tune in and support great research.

Reviews: Nite Callers/HBM's Crypto-Corner 5-31-09
On Nite Callers, the guest was supposed to be Thom Powell, author of The Locals, but he came across an emergency situation he had to take care of, so it was open-mic about research and also answering questions. Mike Hall, a researcher from Texas, was on in place of Powell, and he discussed some research he has done, as well as about the upcoming Honobia Bigfoot Conference this fall. I called in along with Bill Green and talked a good bit about current happenings in the Bigfoot world, as well as about the Dogman phenomenon. A fellow named JB also called in, as did Jordan Warner. Next week, the guest will be Henry Franzoni (In The Spirit of Seatco) beginning at 7:00 EST/6:00 Central.

On HBM's the topic was Cryptozoology hoaxes, and Bill finally got off his chest his feelings on the Georgia Hoax. He and Jordan and I discussed a good deal about it, and we just basically let Bill vent about it for about the first 45 minutes. Then we got into the other Cryptozoology hoaxes and Bigfoot hoaxes, such as the Skookum Cast (which may just be a misidentification), as well as the Sonoma footage, the Memorial Day Footage, the Myakka Skunk Ape photos, Tom Biscardi and other hoaxes. Several folks called in, including Laurie who talked about the GA. Hoax, and also Abe and Bill from Minnesota Bigfoot Research, who discussed some interesting activity from this weekend in their area. Don Keating also called in and discussed the Freeman videos and his admission on Good Morning America in 1987 of being a hoaxer. I am working on a special guest for June 14, 9:30 EST/8:30 Central. Book Review: Who's Watching You? by Linda Coil Suchy
Truly terrific book.
This book basically gives an interesting perspective on the Bigfoot/Sasquatch phenomenon because the author's Gram had experiences with what she called King Kong or The Beast, back before the name Bigfoot came along. Gram grew large vegetables which were raided by something, possibly a Bigfoot (she had several sightings). She used to also make cakes made of pumpkin and zucchini for the creature, which it would accept. There are also many historical and cultural aspects discussed in the book, including the classics, as well as sighting reports given to Linda. There are several interviews with notables in the field, including Jeff Meldrum, Thomas Steenburg, Bob Gimlin, John Green, Henner Fahrenbach, Dmitri Bayanov, Robert W. Morgan and others. I give this book, which is really great, a 4 3/4 out of 5 stars. Get this book!!!
