Loch Ness isn't the only body of water that hosts a mysterious large water monster--Nessie has several cousins around the world, including just 19 in the US alone. A few more are scattered across the globe from Australia to Africa. Nick Redfern reports on one such creature that made a sudden appearance in 2003 England, surfacing in a pond and referred to as theCannock Nessie. Another cryptid creature that boasts even more worldwide recognition than Nessie and her cousins is the so-called Alien Big Cat, which has made appearances in many places where big cats like panthers and lions are completely unexpected. Weird Australia tells us about some early reports from the 1930s of Alien Big Cats reported in parts of Australia that terrorized and puzzled residents for years as they roamed theGippsland district.
