The Return of the Boggy Creek Monster? Phantoms & Monsters
Lon Strickler presents a recent email in which the correspondent tells of an encounter her brother and his wife had with what she thinks could be the famous creature from the motion picture "The Legend of Boggy Creek." The movie monster, known as the Fouke Monster or the Boggy Creek Monster, was famous for its alleged forays around an area just 15 miles from where the couple claim to have encountered a huge, hairy biped with "a horrific stench" on May 5, 2011. Strickler makes sure you know about the story of the Fouke Monster, including two news clippings and information about another cryptid from the nearby Whitewater River Monster Refuge, for which this sea-serpent-like creature contributed its name. Elsewhere, Nick Redfern provides a report gathered from an eyewitness by Pennsylvania researcher and author Stan Gordon in which a woman living not far from Sharpsburg, PA, near the Allegheny River, tells of her observations of an unknown animal: Weird Creature Report. And Redfern has his own tale to tell about a Paradise, TX, rancher named Walter, the horrific death of one of Walter's cattle and the possibility occultists working clandestinely in Walter's fields had conjured an otherworldly horror into being, as set forth in Werewolves on the Prowl. Meanwhile, Bruce Duensing picks up where he left off in Part 1 of a study of the possibility UFOs are intelligent airborne organisms with an affinity for certain geomagnetic conditions, as explained in Part Two of Preliminary Conclusions and Strong Suspicions.
