Legends of Bigfoot come to Ketchum

Idaho State University biology professor Jeff Meldrum, author of Sasquatch: Legend Meets Science, spoke last night to students at Indiana University Southeast (IUS) in New Albany, IN. Reporter Jerod Clapp covers Meldrum's presentation and commentary by associate professor of biology at IUS, Doug Darnowski, who invited Meldrum to address students concerning the reports of manlike creatures from around the world. With photos. And Meldrum has another such appearance scheduled for February 10, 2011, at The Sun Valley Center in Ketchum, ID, as part of the Center's multidisciplinary project Creatures: From Bigfoot to the Yeti Crab, as noted in Legends of Bigfoot Come to Ketchum. Reports of Meldrum's activities appear not to have run afoul of Loren Coleman's admonition Bigfoot, Not Bigfeet! Nor bigfoots! Nor sasquatches! Meanwhile, the reports of the appearance of the Russian Bigfoot, known as the Almasty, figure into Dale Drinnon's explanation of the reconstructions of fossil skulls, as Drinnon exposes, with images, in Neanderthal Snubnoses Again.
