Julie Burchill unloads on the concept of the creature known thorughout the Latino world as the chupacabras and to the Anglicized world as the chupacabra. She also unloads some other opinions and drops an f-bomb along the way, so readers are hereby warned. Burchill goes to a Benjamin Radford explanation of how the idea of the chupacabras came about in Puerto Rico after one was allegedly seen and described by one Madelyn Tolentino in 1995. Radford's claims that Tolentino based the creature's description on the character of Sil in the motion picture Species in a column in Fortean Times. Does it help that the legend of the goatsucker (i.e. the chupacabras) existed among the Hispanic populations before 1995? And on the heels of the chupacabras trashing by Burchill and Radford come reports of spurious Bigfoot claims in Deputies Respond to Phony Bigfoot Call and Bigfoot ‘Sighting' Lures TV Network. Elsewhere, Glen Vaudrey is seeking cryptid reports from every nation on Earth with his latest cryptid being a favorite of the people of Uruguay, as seen in I'll Got the Whol World Wide #3. Meanwhile, Loren Coleman presents some video footage and asks, Does This Look Like Patty?
