Louisiana Swamp Creature Investigation: One Possible Explanation NBC
That image of an ethereal looking humanoid snapped by a deer hunter or captured by a trail cam - there have been two differing explanations of how the image was filmed - continues to draw comments, and, in this report, at least one comparison. Reporter Rick Chandler says the team from "Off the Bench" sports show delved into the creature and concluded it looked like one of the entities in Sony's Resistance: The Fall of Man video game. With images. There are other opinions of what the creature could be, too, and Micah Hanks seems to cover them all as he asks Was Ghoulish Trail Camera "Zombie" a Publicity Stunt? But the real test of photographic or video images may come from our favorite skeptical observer, Kentaro Mori at forgetomori, who picks the image and background story apart, congratulating the creator of the Swamp Creature for a job well-done, in The Louisiana Swamp Monster. Meanwhile, Adam Davies, expedition member during the recently completed Centre for Fortean Zoology trek into India's Garo Hills in search of a reported hairy hominoid, gives his thoughts on the creature the expedition sought in Could the Mande Burung of India be a Relic Gigantopithecus? Elsewhere, Mike Williams of the Centre for Fortean Zoology: Australia, co-author with Rebecca Long of the recently released book Australian Big Cats: An Unnatural History of Panthers, digs up the remains of a big cat in Australia, as detailed in Has the Hills' Big Cat Been Found?
