Todd Standing: Photo of Sylvanic Bigfoot Ghost Theory
Todd Standing has been trying to convince the public and Canadian authorities that he has discovered a valley in Canada where a tribe of Sasquatches have made their home. He has reportedly just returned from an expedition into the valley he calls "Sylvanic" and claims the photo, included here, shows the face of a Sylvanic Sasquatch peering through the branches of a conifer. Standing also claims to have video footage from the new expedition that will be released soon, but Ghost Theory author Javier Ortega includes a previously released Standing video in this report. Has Todd Standing really filmed a Bigfoot? Elsewhere, Loren Coleman, co-author with Bruce G. Hallenbeck of Monsters of New Jersey has a photograph from an exhibit at the Pocono Indian Museum in Bushkill, PA, that depicts a creature from Lenni Lenape Indian lore that describes a giant "protector of the forest," as seen in Messing: The Giant, with photo, map and other images. Coleman also uses the discovery of the new hairy hominoid information to announce a forthcoming book from Anomalist Books, due for release next month, True Giants: Myth, Legend, Folklore, and Fact that he co-authored with Mark A. Hall. Meanwhile, the growing list of book titles issuing from the Centre for Fortean Zoology publishing arm gets a new addition, reviewed with a list of previous titles in Nick Redfern's Ireland's Mystery Animals. The new CFZ Press book is the Gary Cunningham and Ronan Coghlan effort The Mystery Animals of Ireland. Also, Neil Arnold continues his listing of strange encounters with background on a story that originated from Washington state in 1981 that includes a winged entity that was on the attack, as detailed in Zooform Classics Part Four - The Monster of Mount Pilchuck.
