Candace Talmadge begins the story of Texas native Thomas Hues, host of the weekly online broadcast Sasquatch and Spirituality, who claims to have an ongoing relationship with some Sasquatch creatures near College Station, TX. Hues tells Talmadge of the events that led him to begin investigating Sasquatch and why he prefers that Native American name for the creatures instead of the term Bigfoot. Personally, Hues refers to them as "the hairy folks", saying they are living all over the world, "just like humans are." In this first part of a three-part report, Talmadge includes Hues' early communications with Sasquatch and how he had his first sighting of a female Sasquatch he now interacts with. The story of Thomas Hues' relationships with the various Sasquatch associated with the female he met previously emphasizes the social aspects of the creatures and their philosophy, particularly their belief in the sanctity of "free will," described in The Gift of the Sasquatch - Part Two. Hues also describes the sort of telepathic way he communicates with the creatures, relating some incredible instances of viewing scenes through the creatures' eyes. He also says the relationship has begun to improve a health threat Hues has had for some time.

Mike Dash, with a little help from his friends, uncovers a portrait of a famous Pope who was faced with the rise of Nazism and the worldwide discord of the turbulent 1930s, but was still able to puzzle over the cryptozoological story of that decade, the reports of a large and unexplained creature swimming through the waters of Loch Ness. Dash's report tells how Abbot Oswald, Sir David Hunter-Blair before he took the vows, met with Pope Pius XI in the Vatican and spoke with the Pontiff about the creature, including Abbot Oswald's own 40-minute sighting. And there's more Loch Ness Monster lore in William B. Stoecker's The Dragon in the Loch. Elsewhere, Neil Arnold uncovers another 1930s era story that shows the problems encountered in solving the Big Cats in Britain question with The Sussex Lion Hoax. There's also more video footage of the speakers from the recent Weird Weekend 2010 event in WW2010: Colonel John Blashford-Snell; WW2010: Mike Hallowell on Stage; and WW2010: Unscheduled Guest John Hanson.
