Case of "Mike" Solved: "He Was Seeing Things" Cryptomundo
In an update of yesterday's update, Loren Coleman notes that Christopher Noel has removed the comments from his Facebook page that said the Backyard Bigfoot claimant was seeing things, and that the claimant seems to have realized this himself after an investigator brought thermal cameras to his home and found no Sasquatch evidence. Noel removed his updates at the request of radio host Lan Lamphere of Overnight AM. The reason Lamphere requested the removal is found at the radio host's own website in Mr. Mike - Bigfoot - Shocking Story Revealed July 12 2010. It seems tonight's broadcast will cover the same ground Noel covered in his Facebookupdate. Meanwhile, there's other news of cryptid creatures in Sea Monster or Carp Lurks at Lakeside?, Richard Freeman: Persian Dragons, Dale Drinnon: The Sisimite (Tzitzimitl) and Russian 'Lake Monster Snatches Fishermen'.
In a round-up of curious stories: News out of Pakistan and Afghanistan is saying Taliban forces facing off against NATO forces in the continuing Afghan conflict have reportedly begun training monkeys to bear arms against the allied forces. Is this the first instance of simians being armed to fight against humans? Not according to a Chinese source which says Americans used monkeys against the Viet Cong in Viet Nam. And in another strange tale, police in Lagos, Nigeria, had their hands full Tuesday morning when the hot pursuit of a stolen vehicle loaded with goats turned into a fast-spreading story of shape-shifting, as reported in Human Beings-Turned Goats Story, A Hoax - Police. Meanwhile, a publicity stunt goes awry, as seen in Roman Awayday Lands Firewalking Estate Agents in Hospital.
