In one of the most in depth accounts of the chupacabras phenomenon ever presented, Scott Corrales of the Hispanic Institute of UFOlogy gives the history of a cryptid that may have had its origins in Puerto Rico, although Corrales points out that there were similar savage attacks by unidentified creatures prior to Puerto Rico's chupacabras explosion in 1995. Corrales follows the legend of "The Goatsucker" as it makes its way to Mexico, Central and South America, Spain, Portugal and the United States. Since Corrales first assembled his information about this mystery beast, has anyone come forward with an identification for the chupacabras? Elsewhere in today's cryptid chronicles, Brent Swancer offers Japanese Giant Fish, Part 2 - The Dragon Fish, and Loren Coleman presents some Bigfoot evidence in Memorial Day Footage + 14 Years.
