I Brake For Skeptics Michael Prescott's Blog
It takes a while for Michael Prescott to make his point in this post, which appears to be about an experiment in which a speed bump was installed in the drive-through lane of a Burger King restaurant. But, as it turns out, his true focus is on the skeptics of the experiment who end up sounding very much like the skeptics of the paranormal. It can all be summed in in Colin Wilson's comment after reading Martin Gardner's best-selling book Fads and Fallacies in the Name of Science: "I wish I could be as sure of anything as Martin Gardner is of everything." More on skeptics and the skeptical in Skeptics v. Believers: No-score draw?
