Wolves of the Weird ShukerNature
Dr. Karl Shuker opens up the pages of his new blog with this examination of the "big jackals of Eastern Egypt." A correspondent points out a paragraph from a recent book that reveals some authors think the large jackals that roam the Sinai peninsula of Egypt are actually "little wolves" and not jackals at all. And, in his second blog instalment, Dr. Shuker examines the "unicorn whale" in its rare appearance with more than one tusk in Two for the Price of One: Double-tusked Narwhals. Elsewhere, Loren Coleman follows up on information, including photographs, supplied by Dr. Darren Naish, reporting what may be a New Mystery Yemen Cat.
