The discovery of a 10-foot diameter "perfect circle of ice" on Devon's River Otter in England earlier this month leads to a discussion of other similar formations, particularly in North America. Columnist Paul Simons says, "Scientists...can find no signs of fakery in the ice circles, and they are stumped for a rational explanation."
