With the subtitle "Paranormal Werewolves Part I," this bizarre tale is woven by Nick Redfern from news items beginning with wolflike predations in 1907 among the sheep of Allendale in northern England, not far from the town of Hexham. The attacks ended less than a month later, but the story picks up again in 1972, and that's when the tale begins to take on the mantle of classic high strangeness. What creature followed the stone heads of Hexham? Meanwhile cryptic actions by a monkey are recorded on video as the creature defends a temple dedicated to Hanuman, the Hindu monkey god, in India: Monkey with a Mission. There's a bit more on the monkey's efforts to defend the temple in Monkey Turns into Savior of Indian Shrine.
