Review: Squatch Detective Radio 5-26-08
This was a very GREAT show, with the guest originally supposed to be Robert W. Morgan, but he was a no-show, so the first half-hour was open-mic, and also a discussion of the 1996 Memorial Day Footage which had some rather damning evidence against it in the form of some audio and a clip of what appears to be a person taking off a mask. The last hour, however, was devoted to a surprise guest in the form of M.K. Davis, who had originally only called in just to hear the show, but turned out to be a guest on the show, and he answered all the questions that Steve, Billy and Becky posed to him regarding the controversy surrounding him this past week regarding some things said and alleged. M.K. answered satisfactorily the question of whether he accused Gimlin of shooting "Patty" (he had not), and also whether he manipulated any of the film sequences he worked with (he has not). He is maintaining that this is a "What if?" scenario only, not absolute fact. Review: Sasquatch Experience 5-25-08
This was a rather spirited and interesting show, debating the latest findings and conjecture from M.K. Davis on the alleged massacre at Bluff Creek in 1967 during the filming of "Patty." I traded some barbs back and forth with Melissa and Sean over what I felt was poor treatment of M.K. and there was a bit of heated debate, but nothing really boiled over and cooler heads did prevail, fortunately. We had a few call-ins, including Steve Kulls (twice, the second time to ask a question on behalf of Becky Sawyer), Steve Summar (Ole Bub) and John Cartwright, who confirmed that M.K. never said during the so-called "clandestine meeting" after the Ohio Conference that "Patty" was shot or never said it was Bob Gimlin that did it. Review: The Bigfoot Mystery 5-25-08
This was a really terrific show, with guest Luke Gross, who discussed his formation of the Texas Bigfoot Research Center (now Conservancy), as well as research in his area. He also traded some ideas back and forth with Thomas, who called in and discussed his area of research as well. I also called in and asked Luke if he had found any stick structures or anything similar to that. He said he had, and had also found shelter-type structures (I mentioned about the one we had found at Area 143 a couple of weeks ago). Retraction...
Earlier this week, I wrote that I had some possible activity in this area I am researching in the form of sightings, more specifically possibly of Fox. Well, I am retracting that to say that I do not know what I saw (or possibly saw) and I will attempt to be more objective from now on. The Southeast Sasquatch Association regrets the error.

Review: Beyond The Edge Radio 5-23-08
This was a GREAT show, with guest in the first hour Bob Chance, discussing activity in Maryland and his theories on the Sasquatch. Several folks called in, including Bill Green, Thomas (Smiter) who traded ideas with Bob and some wiseacre prank callers at the start of the show. Clarification...
Earlier this week, I made the post about a conversation I overheard at the Ohio Bigfoot Conference about the alleged massacre at Bluff Creek during the filming of "Patty," (key word: alleged). In that post I reported that allegedly, a hunting party was there with Patterson and Gimlin taking potshots at "Patty" (again, allegedly), but I never named names of any individuals who allegedly took those potshots. Some parties on other blogs alleged that the rumor is that Gimlin allegedly shot "Patty" in the leg twice, thus the "hernia." The truth is, NO ONE implied Gimlin in anything, not even in my earlier post. For all we know (if this massacre story is true) Gimlin is an innocent party in this. If a massacre took place, then Gimlin is in a position to tell us what really happened, but this is only IF the story is true. Unless someone comes forward and actually confirms this story, it is STILL speculation at this point and rumor and hearsay, and should be taken as such.

Now that Adobe Reader 8 is available, and seeing what I can do for the
production of e-books using this reader; and in conjunction with the new
Sony Reader (which is really very neat and easy to use), I (personally)
am at the point of only producing e-books in the future. Both versions
of my BIGFOOT FILM JOURNAL have been designed SPECIFICALLY for screen
reading. It is also very handy to be able to put links in a pdf and I
have fully utilized this feature in the e-book. However, I will only
link material that is on the Hancock House site so that I have full
control. There is also a link for CORRECTIONS AND UPDATES. I will
therefore be able to continually update the book as new material is
found or provided. Hancock and I are considering the idea of having a
HANCOCK HOUSE CLUB, whereby for a set annual fee, people will have
access to tons of information in the form of e-books and other pdf
documents, with naturally thousands of images.

Research Trip Day 9
Lawrence, Janice and I went up to an area above the Carter home where I was told Fox and Bo were, but we did not see anything except possible brief glimpses and I saw what was a possible visual of Fox out slightly in the open, but it was really too far away to tell one way or the other. I myself also heard possible vocalizations and possible wood-knocks, but again all of this is unconfirmed. I saw and heard SOMETHING. What that was, I do not know. I imagine there will be more trips (at least one more) out into the woods possibly tomorrow, but this is all I can report on at this time. See next post for the photos of this latest venture.

Book (PDF) Review: The History of Bigfoot...at Salt Fork State Park by Don Keating
Since April 1972, there have been well-over 2-dozen sightings of Sasquatch in the largest State Park in the United States, nestled in the Appalachian Mountains in east central Ohio. This PDF book, which is absolutely excellent, documents those sightings, as well as track discoveries and strange anomalous sounds, including one recorded by Phillip Brocco at Hosacks Cave in the park in 2006 (a photo of said cave adorns the cover). Also, for the past four years (as recently as this past Saturday) the Eastern Ohio Bigfoot Investigation Center has held its annual Bigfoot Conference at the Lodge/Resort. One ranger claimed to have been frightened so badly by one looking in a window at him, that he put his fist through a window and required over 100 stitches. There have also been a good number of footprint discoveries in the park, one as recently as April of this year, which are covered in the book. Don sold these at the Conference, but you can get a copy by e-mailing him at eobic@yahoo.com I do recommend this PDF book very highly.

These are the alleged graves and grave-markers for Shaggy and Sheba which we found, on the Carter Farm. All of this proves that the previous investigation was flawed and that the people involved must not have known where to go.
