This was a great show, which began with an interview with James "Bubba" Cromer who produced/wrote/directed The Long Way Home: A Bigfoot Story and he told of the behind the scenes happenings and the true stories behind some of the characters in that film. Then, a fellow named Ryan Logan who wrote a song about the Lee County, South Carolina Lizard Man and a sample of it was played. What was played sounded great. Then, Tom brought on TJ, JavaBob and Steve Kulls on to discuss recent activity in New Mexico. Cleveland Zoo Researchers Find Rare Turtle in Vietnam The Plain Dealer
A Vietnamese legend and the search for a rare turtle have come together in a village west of Hanoi, Vietnam. The Swinhoe's soft-shell turtle is so rare, only three were known to exist before researchers discovered the rare turtle living in a lake near Hanoi. If this rare species can be discovered living in the wild, is there hope for other extinct or nearly extinct animals to be discovered? Also, Elephantopotamus Discovered.
Big Cat Seen Prowling in Barongarook Geelong Advertiser
Tales of large felines prowling across Australia, where there are supposed to be no large native cats, continue to make waves. This time the culprit cat was spotted in Barongarook, an area where large cat sightings have been regularly made. Meanwhile, in Illinois, a state where the experts claimed native American cougars were extinct, a Chicago policeman had to put down a 150-pound specimen in a back alley. Commentary on the newest possible video of an alien/Sasquatch
There is a new video on YouTube which appears to show something peering over some bushes. The video is labeled as an alien, and the witnesses whose voices can be heard in the video are calling it an alien (although their dialogue sounds very rehearsed and stilted), but at least one researcher thinks the alien label is misplaced; he thinks it is a possible Sasquatch footage. It appears to be one or the other, but it is really hard to tell one way or the other. It is brief and out of focus and a bit shaky. I do not know what it is, so I really have no opinion on it one way or the other. Either way, it is still not going to solve the mystery of aliens OR Sasquatch.
Remember the possible track I told y'all about?
Well, I am starting to think more and more that it is most likely where our lawnmower blade shaved off some grass off the ground. In other words, just a bare spot. So this may not be a track this time. But, there is always next time. Still, it is always good for a true researcher/investigator to eliminate all possibilities before absolutely declaring something as Sasquatch-related.

This was a great show, with guest "Ranger Tim' Cassidy, who discussed his research, as well as his encounter in 1996 in Indiana, and his work in wildlife biology and work as a ranger in different parks. I called in and sent my condolences on his mother's passing and asked him if he was going to go to the Ohio Conference next month. He is not, he said, because he is taking a ranger job at Yellowstone National Park this Summer which will last till September. Bill Green called in and asked Tim about his research and also mentioned the possible footage of the alien/Sasquatch that was sent to him which is on this blog. During the break, Mike played some Megadeth and a recording of him singing the Creed song With Arms Wide Open which he did a great job on. There was a good bit of discussion with Tim on his theories on Sasquatch, and then he was lost and not recovered on the line, so Eric Altman called in and asked a question to be passed along to Tim. Bob ended the show with the Jimmy Durante version of I'll Be Seeing You. This was a rather interesting show, with M.K. going on his soapbox defending Roger Patterson and the film he took, with examples of some very good files which appear to show things like the mouth opening and teeth visible, a possible ponytail which appears to be blowing in the wind and other things. M.K. basically described Patterson as being in Documentary Hell, and says it is high time to let him go and let the film go, because what M.K. has allegedly found proves it is a real creature (or human, possibly) in the film. M.K. seems to be finally saying loud and proud that the film shows a real entity, not a guy in a suit, and certainly not Bob Heironimus. My Bigfoot Experiences

I have had a lifelong interest in the mystery of Bigfoot or Sasquatch (30 years worth). My interest was piqued by two items: the appearance of Andre the Giant as Bigfoot on the TV series "The Six-Million Dollar Man" and seeing my father with a copy of the book "Bigfoot: The Mysterious Monster". We lived in three states (Tennessee, Pennsylvania and Georgia), and every state we lived in, if we lived near woods, I would go looking for Bigfoot. We moved to Woodstock, Georgia in August 1982, to an area that was very heavily wooded, on the edge of the North Georgia mountains. There was even an enormous hill at the northern end of the subdivision I lived in. One night, in March 1983, while trying to go to sleep, I heard strange screams, similar to a woman in distress, but much louder and more powerful. Having read a good deal of information about Bigfoot, and knowing they let out screams from time to time, I immediately attributed the sounds to Bigfoot. For the next two months, I conducted an investigation every day after school and on weekends. Some of the neighborhood kids told me they'd had sightings as well. One day, one of them invited me to his house, where I had a "not sure" 5-minute sighting of something that may or may not have been a Bigfoot at the bottom of that hill in a pasture. I do not say now that it was a Bigfoot, but it could've been. I had several other "not sure" encounters from May 1983-January 1984. I even heard strange whistling one night. On January 31, 1984, at 10:00 p.m. eastern, I went outside onto our back elevated patio and started doing the same whistling cry I had heard a few months before. After about two minutes, I heard a response. After five more minutes of this, I saw something large and heavy swaying behind these people's home. I saw a hairy creature (rust-brown color), 7 1/2-8 foot tall, cone-shaped head, come up under the porchlight, and saw this thing's face. It was strangely humanlike and gorillalike. I watched it for about five minutes, then went inside. We moved over here to Mississippi a week later, the Cleveland-Boyle area. For 3 years, I saw or heard nothing in this area. One night, in December 1987, just after Christmas, I thought I saw something large and dark walking from left to right on the loop of South Brooks Avenue. I don't now say it was a Bigfoot, but it could've been. Or it could've been somebody in a big jacket, but it was simply too dark to tell for sure. A year-and-a-half later, June 1989, my mother, sister and I were heading somewhere around 3:00 in the afternoon. We were about to get in the car when I spotted something large and hairy and brown, with a round head walking from right to left in a rice field about 300 yards away. My mother dismissed it as possibly a farmer or a person, but I knew better. It was simply too large and the weather was too hot for a person walking in a rice field wearing a gorilla costume. I unfortunately did not think to look for tracks till later. 3 years later, in May 1992, I went to this same rice field and saw small barefoot tracks in an area where there had been no rain for over a month. They were walking in a straight line, like a tightrope, not all scattered about like a human's would be. They were about 10 inches long. Two years later, in the summer of 1994, At around 11:00 p.m., I was looking at an area west of my home, when I saw something large running on all fours from left to right. It was much larger than a dog, and was dark-colored, possibly black. That was about a five-second glimpse. In September of 1994, a neighbor alerted me to some strange tracks in their yard, which I examined and photographed (I did not save those photographs, unfortunately). The tracks were about 10 inches in length. A year-and-a-half later, in February 1996, we received some hard ice and snow in our area. I found two 10-inch three-toed tracks in the yard behind my house on the hard ice and snow. I had had several sound encounters for two years previous; howls, growls, grunts, groans, running sounds on two legs, all kinds of strange sounds. January 13th, 1998, 1:15 A.M., I was heading north on Highway 61 from Greenville, Mississippi, having just left Washington County. I was around 10 miles south of Shaw when I spotted something walking from right to left about 150 yards ahead of me. It was bipedal. I slowed down a bit just in case it decided to dart back across from right to left. When I reached the point where it crossed the road and stopped in a ditch, I saw a large, hairy, dirty-white creature standing at a side profile, estimated to be 7 1/2-8 feet tall. It never looked at me, so I didn't see the face at all. It was large and muscular, similar to "Patty" but not exactly. It had a round-shaped head. I have not had a sighting in 10 years, but I've had several sound encounters, including one in March 2005 in which I heard one imitate a human poorly. It was trying to call my cat, but it sounded very strange. I also have heard some strange noises which COULD be attributed to Sasquatch, and in December 2005, my mother heard a strange "nuh-nuh-nuh-nuh" noise, very deep and loud. In June 2007, around Sunset, she heard what sounded like wood-on-wood; a little later that night, I heard the same thing. Then, in either July or August of 2007, during the day, I heard wood-on-wood. Then, on April 11th, 2008, I found a possible track with mid-tarsal break. Those are my encounters and sightings of Bigfoot creatures.

Footprint casting tips from Eric Altman
Take either plaster or Hydro cal First take an empty bucket, then fill it 1/4 full with water.
Get a smaller plastic cup and a mixing spoon.
Add a cup of plaster or hydro call one cup at a time. Mix it until it is a little bit thicker than a milk shake consistency.
Use the spoon to help pour it into the track and spread around until it sets, probably about 2 to 3 hours. Once the back is hard, use the spoon to lift around the edges. Then flip it over and let the other side set. Casting is VERY easy.

Is this a track with midtarsal break?
I found and photographed this today in my grandfather's yard. It does appear to POSSIBLY be a track with a midtarsal break, but it could also just be a worn-out patch of grass. You be the judge.

Review: Sasquatch Triangle 4-10-08
This was a great show, kind of an open-mic show, with myself and Don discussing various issues, including some new photos of tracks on Don's site of a possible track found at Salt Fork State Park last Sunday which measured 16 inches long and about 9 inches wide at the ball of the foot, as well as about sounds and the Rich LaMonica talker tape sound was played. Bill Green and Mike Feltner also called in with various questions and Mike discussed a bit the Ohio Talker Tape as well. Gorilla Spotting Said To Be Hoax Daily Journal
According to police in Tupelo, Mississippi, two postal workers and two parents picking their children up from school claimed to have seen a huge primate run into the woods behind the post office in the early afternoon. But a local costume dealer said a man and a woman bought a gorilla head and hands Tuesday, stating that they already had a suit.
