Review: Sasquatch Watch Radio 9-8-08

This was a terrific show, with guest Kathy Strain, who discussed her new book Giants, Cannibals and Monsters: Bigfoot In Native Culture which is coming out soon, as well as her work with the Yurok and Mewok tribes in Northern California and their legends, as well as the work her husband Bob has also been doing in the field. She also discussed the research she did for the book. I called in and asked Kathy if her work cross-pollenated with David Paulides' book (she answered it did not), and I also asked if there were any other tribes that she knew of which had the artwork that the Yurok Tribe has representing a Sasquatch (she knew of none). My final question for her was regarding a set of stone carvings found along the Columbia River which represented a gorilla or apelike face and if she was familiar with them (she was) and how the Native Americans would have known to make a carving like that (Kathy answered that they would not have). Bill Green also called in and asked some rather, shall we say, interesting questions. Next week, Billy and DB welcome the chairman of the Eastern Ohio Bigfoot Investigation Center, the Bigfoot Bulldog himself, Don Keating, beginning at 9:00 EST/8:00 Central at Sasquatch Watch Radio

And as always, we encourage you to please tune in and support great research.
