As though there were not enough flames in California, Tuesday morning reports began coming to first response units of a streaking fireball falling toward the San Bernardino Mountains. There's no consensus yet on the identity of the fiery phenomenon, but there's more at Ball of Fire Seen in California Sky. Meanwhile Billy Cox prepares the way with Roman Candles and Alien Parades as Tourists Invade Roswell for UFO Festival, and marking the event, perhaps, a new book has been released, purported to be the memoirs of an Army Air Force nurse who was the only person able to telepathically communicate with the lone surviving "female" occupant of Roswell's crashed UFO, the details of which are in Alien Interview, the memoir of Matilda O'Donnell MacElroy. In other UFO news, the United Kingdom remains dominant with reports like UFO 'Seen Over M4 Service Area', Mystery Sighting 'May be a UFO', Close Encounters of the MK Kind and UFO Spotted in Lancashire? Meanwhile, from South America, Inexplicata is reporting on Chile: UFOs in Valparaiso and a look back at Argentina: Impact at Quijano (1995). Other than that California fireball and the Roswell festivities, the only UFO news from the US is a look back at a Brooklyn, NY, UFO report in Keep Your Eyes on the Night Skies and a question of whether Bucks County UFO Solved? Among the UFO commentaries today, Paul Kimball at Above & Beyond points out discrepancies in Proving Your UFO Case by Debating, Mark Lawson in the UK says We Are the Alien Nation, Bruce Duensing at Intangible Materiality tries to untangle the mystery of The Dragons of UFOlogy, at UFO Media Matters Joe Cap recaps the attacks on and triumphs of Dr. James McDonald in The Last Scientist Part 1 and Rick Phillips at The Heavy Stuff continues his countdown of topics that do more than raise eyebrows in The Wink Factor Index - Part Two. There is a sad report in the UFO news today, too, with Chile: The Dying Days of UFOlogy.
