The Smithsonian Channel wil be televising "Legend of the Crystal Skulls" tonight as the Smithsonian Institution's crystal skull exhibit opens in Washington, DC. With the admission that the institution's crystal skull, donated anonymously 16 years ago, is a fake, what's left to tell? Tonight's television documentary will make it quite clear all the crystal skulls in museums around the world are fake. Elsewhere, a famous statue, while not found to be fake, has been found to be misdated. In Famed Roman Statue 'Not Ancient' the Lupita Capitolina, as the statue of a she-wolf suckling Romulus and Remus is known, is now believed to date from the 13th century of the current era, and not the 5th century before the current era. What other dating mistakes have been made, skewing the timelines of history? With photo.
