Interesting Conversation I overheard at the Ohio Conference which could change the whole scope of the P/G Movie

Following on the heels of M.K. Davis' tremendous presentation on the Patterson/Gimlin Movie at the 20th-Annual Ohio Bigfoot Conference, I overheard an interesting conversation between a group of researchers who told a most interesting story which surrounds the circumstances of the film. Disclaimer: this is all theory and conjecture, and not absolute proof or truth and is only rumor and hearsay at this point. One gentleman said he had heard a rumor that Patterson and Gimlin were not the only ones on the sandbar that day (and no, I am not talking about Heironimus); it is speculated that two researchers were also in the area that day, and that either they or some loggers were on the sandbar with rifles taking potshots at "Patty" while Patterson and Gimlin were there. Patterson allegedly jumped into the hole with the pool of blood in it to avoid being shot. Allegedly, there was a massacre of "Patty's" family and that the bodies were down in the excavated pit which was seen in M.K.'s presentation. This is why during the presentation the supposed hernia on the leg of "Patty" was speculated to be a bullethole by some in the audience (M.K. did not say what he thought it was). Now remember, all of this is SPECULATION, RUMOR and HEARSAY only. This is NOT established as fact. Until further confirmation is made of all this, this will remain rumor and undetermined.

Hey Henry,

I know you weren't the one who came up with the conspiracy angle, but does it strike you as credible that two other bigfoot researchers could have been there that day and we never hear about it until now?

And then add in the idea that they supposedly killed and dismembered several bigfoot. But then they left the bodies.

How can anyone believe that? We all believe that a bigfoot body would have significant cash value. Patterson, at least, showed that he was interested in turning the events of that day into a profit. Who believes that he would have left the bodies behind in a bloody pool?

It is preposterous and no one should give it another thought.

I was there and found the evidence very convincing. I am baffled at the negative reactions expressed by people who haven't even seen the images. I think if anyone put 2+2 together, they would see that something happened that day. Maybe one day, we'll know what.
