Pretty terrific show, with folks on the line such as Kelly, Chad Scott (Ghostwolf), Matt Knapp and Dan Ricke. Just essentially a call-in/roundtable show where several topics were discussed, including myself, talking about the Ohio Conference and also the Yakima Bigfoot Round-Up and also about this Wednesday's Monsterquest episode. Bill called in and asked his standard question and also again brought up the Georgia Hoax (which some of us do wish he would move on from, but he is not the only one who needs to move on from it). One very interesting topic that was brought up in the second hour was the correlation of sightings to cemeteries, a topic that was brought up. This ain't your father's G. I. Joe!!!
This originally premiered on line as a series of webisodes, and it really is a great series which shows a different G. I. Joe then we have seen previously in animation. It premiered on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim last night. The story centers around the G. I. Joe team, led by Duke, battling the evil forces of Cobra, but there is a twist to this show-people actually die, and real bullets are shot from real guns. Snake-Eyes, the popular G. I. Joe commando/Ninja actually slices Cobra troopers like confetti, and people do actually get hit with bullets. It begins with a certain member of Cobra personnel who is found dead inside the Washington Memorial in the Nation's Capital, stabbed and gutted by the evil Cobra Commander, who has a particle weapon which he uses to level Moscow as a demonstration of what will happen if the world is not turned over to him within 24 hours. The team mobilizes, with Snake-Eyes going to Japan and confronting his old fellow Martial-Arts student and former best friend Cobra Ninja Storm Shadow, and Duke and Scarlett going to Siberia to attempt to shut down the particle weapon. Another strike team goes to another location (Roadblock, Gung-Ho, Beach Head and Stalker), where they confront Destro and the Baroness to free some hostages. I will not give away too much more, but I really enjoyed this show, very well-done. It was more adult, with some strong language and some violence, prompting a TV-14 rating, and it is not really for kids under the age of 13. But us children of the '80's really appreciate this terrific show. Hope this turns into a regular series and not just a one-off. I give this a 4 1/2 out of 5 stars.

This was a terrific show, with guest Gary Mangiacopra, who discussd his research into all things Cryptid, including Bigfoot and Lake and Sea Monsters. Bill Green was the first guest and basically took over for a few minutes, LOL asking of course about Bigfoot. I called in and asked about Lake Monsters, mainly about the theory that Lake Monsters could be mammals and also about the theory that it could possibly have gotten to the lakes from the Sea before the land rose and the lakes were cut off from the ocean. Scott Mardis also called in and discussed Lake Monsters and the various theories surrounding that. Next week, Jordy will be in Ohio, so I doubt there will be a show next week. This was a great show, with guest Don Keating, who discussed next weekend's 21st-Annual Ohio Conference/Expo and the products he is having available for it, as well as discussing some recent activity in the Buckeye State which has occurred in recent months. Reviews: Sasquatch Triangle/Monsterquest 4-22-09
Minor Correction: It's Wes Shofner, not Schondlin. Anyway, this was a great show, with guests Bob Gray, Liza Foster and Wes Shofner of the movie Gray produced called Bigfoot. They discussed the movie as well as its sequel, and also a new documentary they are producing on the subject of Bigfoot. I called in and asked Bob about perhaps optioning Clint Romag's books as movies and also about the documentary. Diane Stocking also called in and asked about the documentary. Don also of course promoted some new products that he will be selling at the Conference regarding his new DVD on Sasquatch at Salt Fork State Park, as well as a CD on sounds and an interview, and finally a revised edition of his e-book The History of Bigfoot at Salt Fork State Park. Dunno what Don has planned for next week as far as his last show before the Conference, but it begins at 9:00 EST/8:00 Central. Scott Marlowe and Loren Coleman are both seen on this show and interviewed as to their impressions on Sea Monsters. Opinion is divided as to whether or not the footage is of a genuine sea monster or a sea manatee or a seal perhaps. A team goes underwater to search for clues as to what the answer is. They find...well, not much. Next week is another episode on Hairy Hominids about the Sasquatch on Vancouver Island called Mysterious Ape Island, 9:00 EST/8:00 Central on History. Really terrific horror!!!
This is the third book in Romag's series of books connecting together, with characters Chad Gamin and Andrew Bridgeton, who were brought together in The Ape Cave Horror after tragedy caused by a group of vindictive Sasquatch creatures in Canada and Washington State (A fellow named Stephen, from The Unleashing is also in this book). The scene is Hyder, Alaska, where Chad, Andrew and Stephen are investigating sightings of Sasquatch in the area, when the creatures attack and basically destroy the town. A few survivors do manage to hide themselves and strike back, and the action gets suspenseful and horrifying, leading to a terrifying reason as to why the Sasquatch creatures act the way they do. I would give this one a 4 1/2 out of 5 stars. Don't read this one alone!!!

The 1980 book Manlike Monsters on Trial: Early Records and Modern Evidence, edited by Marjorie Halpin and Michael Ames, gets an analysis in this post that takes exception with several points in the tome, particularly Halpin's belief that those who have sighted Bigfoot are probably experiencing their subconscious in action, relaying an expectation shaped by myth and legend. But, what about the physical Bigfoot evidence?
