On Monsterquest:

The most compelling evidence for the creature known as Bigfoot may be the increasing close encounters that are frightening witnesses in rural America. Historic stories have told of violent interactions that range from objects being thrown to frightening abductions by hairy beasts. As extraordinary as these stories sound, people continue to recount physical interactions with creatures that they cannot explain. Witnesses from Minnesota and Washington State have all had frightening run-ins with the monsters while driving; another witness in rural Indiana talks with terror of the night that he was grabbed by something very powerful out in a forest. MonsterQuest will investigate whether witness are seeing known animal or the same Bigfoot creature that has been spoken of throughout history. MonsterQuest employs polygraph examinations, DNA analysis and bite force tests to discover what monster is turning up its aggression.

Bigfoot Central was rather interesting, discussing some recent allegations surrounding the P/G Film and some allegations of a film which alleges to show a hunt going on at the same time as the filming. He showed clips and files that seem to show a hunt going on, but there really is not much of a context to go with it and suggest that absolutely this was going on at the same time as the filming other than some circumstantial evidence. But it was a fairly interesting and fair to good show.

M.K. Davis continued on Bigfoot Quest, where he discussed some of the research he has done in the Bluff Creek area and work he has done on other pieces of footage besides the P/G Film. He did discuss that film a good bit, and the implications of the possible massacre that took place there, in his opinion. Callers included myself and Bill Green and Don Keating and somebody else. A pretty good show. Dunno what Bob and Mike have planned for next week, but it begins at 9:00 EST/8:00 Central. And as always, we encourage you to please tune in and support great research.

Announcements:

Unfortunately, we must begin by announcing that John Green will not be able to attend. He wishes he could attend and spend the day with us, but he is unable to do so.

We understand completely and he wanted to impart that his health is very good right now.

We are also very excited to announce that a colleague of Dmitri Bayanov will travel from Russia for this event. Dmitry Pirkulov will represent the Hominology group and give us an overview of the evidence they have collected. The Russian investigators have always supported the Patterson-Gimlin film and we are thrilled to have them be a part of the Bigfoot Round-Up.

We are looking for a ride for one of the speakers at the event – Bill Munns.
He’ll be flying into Seattle and we’re looking for someone who might be able

to give him a ride to the event and back to the airport. (I believe flying in Friday morning and flying out Sunday evening. Portland might be an option if that’s better for you.)

We know we will have the help of many of you throughout the weekend. Thank you in advance as the whole concept of this social-type conference is dependent on just that.

When it comes time to move the chairs and set up tables for dinner after the presentations on Saturday, we know it will go smoothly and quickly.

We’ll need help from some of you with the coordination of the pot-luck dinner on Friday

and a couple of people to manage the barbeque lunch on Saturday. We’re planning on having 8 – 10 volunteers signed up for 30 minute shifts to cook on Sat. so we don’t miss much of the event.

Also, as we get to the ranch, we’ll ask for help checking in the cars to the parking area,

and a few volunteers to help with registration. Please email or call one of us if you would be able to help with this.

Thank you. We’ll be in touch about other ways you could help with donations of drinks and other items for the event.

Thank you to all who have already donated most generously. We still would ask that you send your payment in promptly if you haven’t done so yet – especially for the dinner.

Please email us if you plan to camp. I’ll send another message out this weekend to the people camping at the ranch about the arrangements we have made.

We are thrilled that so many researchers, authors and enthusiasts are attending the Bigfoot Round-Up – that’s just what we intended with this event. We do intend to let you know who is coming to the round-up – guess we’ll have a better idea in a couple of weeks.
