MonsterQuest : Snowbeast Slaughter Airs on Wednesday March 11 09:00 PM EST/8:00 Central

High in the rugged wilderness of Colorado's Rocky Mountains a large hairy creature is said to be preying on the elk and frightening residents. The stories date back centuries with the earliest settlers describing terrifying encounters with a large beast whose scream bellows across the hills. Even today ranchers and hikers report a monster they can't explain that may be attacking their horses. MonsterQuest will sift through the evidence and determine what may be killing the elk. The aerial search ascends to 11,000 ft in search of fresh evidence that could lead to the creature; as the ground team scales the side of Pikes Peak to hunt for the legendary Snowbeast.

Editorial: Theories: Is One More Right Then The Other?

There are many theories that float around in the Bigfoot Community regarding the true nature of what the hairy hominids or hominoids are. Some believe that yes, it is a flesh-and-blood creature which is more apelike in its nature, a descendant of Gigantopithecus. Others believe it is more humanlike, more related to Pithecanthropus or Australopithecus or Paranthrapus. Others believe they have been habituating these creatures for many years and essentially grew up with these creatures. Still others believe we are chasing a population of invisible, telepathic, teleporting tribe of Indians, or that they come out of UFOs. Now, everyone in the Bigfoot Community has different theories, and it makes me wonder if one is more right than another, considering we do not know WHAT Bigfoot is. Now, that is not to say that I agree with all the theories out there, and I will say as much, but that does not make these people rife for mockery and ridicule. The best thing that Bigfooters should say is they agree to disagree, but that does not make the ones with the different theories the scum of the earth. My opinion as to what Bigfoot is is that it is possibly related to Paranthrapus or possibly one of the more humanlike branches of man, but do I know for sure? Absolutely not. I disagree with much of the other theories out there, but I do not ridicule or mock those who hold those different theories. I can get along with each of those people who hold those theories just fine. Let us just remember we are all in this together and that we can only solve this mystery by working together.

I will not be listening to every single show during the week like I usually do, to avoid burnout. That is why they make archives. The shows, good as they are and as much as I like the hosts, they all tend to say the same thing and have the same guests. So, if you don't see me in all the chats, it's not because I have something against the show or the guests, it's just that all the shows seem to blur together after a while and I get bored with the same stuff. So, no offense to any of the hosts of the shows I frequent, but I will not listen to every single show. I'll be lucky if I listen to maybe two or three shows a week. Of course, I will still participate in the shows I host or co-host, such as the Sasquatch Experience and HBM's Crypto-Corner. Thanks for your patience, everyone.
