Review: The Grey Area 12-3-08
This was a terrific welcome-back show for Melissa and Monica's return to Blog Talk Radio, and what a great guest they had, the one and only Scott "Squatch" Herriott. There was some discussion at the beginning of the show about a recent article on the Texas Bigfoot Conference written for the blog of Vanity Fair which took Dr. Henner Fahrenbach completely out of context, but when they got into the discussion with Scott, he discussed his Walking Documentaries (Walk, Still Walking, Even More Walking and Walked) and also discussed his two Sasquatch documentaries. Bill Green called in and of course, discussed the Georgia Hoax and also asking Scott about his current research. I called in and discussed about Scott's buddy Ed Marques and his recent appearances on commercials and also a spoof of the Georgia Hoax. I also asked about any more stories that Scott had heard on the Pacific Crest Trail on Sasquatch, and he answered that he heard of strange screams being heard on the trail, but that was it. Review: The Sasquatch Triangle 12-3-08
This was a pretty great show, with guests John Cartwright, Scott Albaugh, Dave (Bluetracker), Bruce the Creature Seeker and Billy Willard, who talked about some incidents which occurred about two weeks ago at Salt Fork State Park where Billy caught on video what appeared to be ambient eyeshine of a blue/white color. Eric Altman was on the same expedition, but did not join the panel, and he was on the expedition and was doing woodknocking to attempt to attract some possible woodknocking, and did get responses. I called in and asked questions such as were all their party present and accounted for and also about the eyeshine. NC Cougar: State Says “Highly Unlikely” Cryptomundo
A cougar was seen, reportedly, last week in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Wildlife expert says it was a big dog. Also, What Is A Panther?
Next Saturday, a wildlife biologist is heading back into the swamps of eastern Arkansas with a scaled-back search team consisting of 26 volunteers and three expert field biologists. The search will run through the bird's nesting season in March and April when the ivory-bill is most active. Three previous searches failed to find the big black and white woodpecker.

DVD Review: Get Smart
Absolutely hilarious!!!
This is a terrific comedy romp, with The Office star Steve Carell as CONTROL analyst Maxwell Smart, who is hoping to become a full agent, but the Chief (veteran actor Alan Arkin, Little Miss Sunshine) feels he needs Max in a more analytical capacity. Agent 23 (former WWE star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Walking Tall, Be Cool), Max's best friend and idol, is the main guy in CONTROL, and has a partner, Agent 99 (whom Max meets on the street), portrayed by Anne Hathaway (The Princess Diaries) who is partnered up with Max after CONTROL Headquarters is attacked by their arch-enemy KAOS, headed up by Siegfried (Terence Stamp, Superman II, Star Wars: Episode 1: The Phantom Menace) who has a large thug working for him named Dalip (WWE star The Great Khali). The President is portrayed by James Caan (Rollerball, The Godfather, Elf) and an uncredited cameo by Bill Murray (Ghostbusters, Scrooged, Groundhog Day) as Agent 13. This is an absolute laugh riot, and one I highly recommend. 4 3/4 out of 5 stars.
Review: Weird, True and Freaky 12-2-08
This was a rather interesting program, about Legendary Creatures, covering Chupacabras, Bigfoot (including the Georgia Hoax), Vampire Bats, Lake Monsters and hairy people (people suffering from hypertrichosis). There was not a whole lot of new information, but still it was rather interesting, about a 3 1/2 out of 5 stars.
Review: Bigfoot Quest 12-2-08
This was a pretty terrific show, with K. Steven Monk, a researcher from Georgia, who discussed his research and also sightings close to his area. Bill Green called in and of course asked about the Georgia Hoax and also what he has done in regard to recent sightings and footprint discoveries. I called in and asked about/discussed local sightings in his area. There was a good bit of discussion on Bigfoot habits and ecology as well. Mike also played some requested Split-Enz and Tesla for Reverend Strone (Daniel) and Cryptoseeker (Carolann Solomon). NASA Mars Photo Reveals Strange Object American Chronicle
Ian Brockwell addresses an August, 2008, report with accompanying NASA photograph. Does the photo show a piece of lumber on the Martian surface? According to the report, made independent of NASA, the shot does show Martian lumber, and Brockwell goes even further, saying, "Although the Viking Orbiters photographed what appeared to be forests on Mars, there has been no mention of this recently." Review: Cryptid Hunt Episode II: Sasquatch Encounter
This was a really good five-parter, found only on YouTube, featuring a look at the Sasquatch reports from the Whitehall, New York area, with such luminaries as local researcher/author Paul Bartholomew, local witness former Whitehall Police Officer Dan Gordon, groundskeeper of the Skene Country Club Clifford Sparks, John Green, John Bindernagel and Thomas Steenburg (all those 3 via telephone) and some great scenery of the area of Whitehall. The Albert Ostman story is once again recreated, this time by a friend of Jordan's, as is Dan Gordon's sighting. This was a great first hour, with Dusty Smith of the Daytona Beach Paranormal Research Center, who discussed her ghost research, as well as her interest in the Paranormal. Haunting Questions Raised at Decatur's Old Courthouse The Champion Newspaper
The current home of the DeKalb History Center in Decatur, GA, was once the Decatur Courthouse.
