Reviews: Sasquatch Triangle/TV Land's Myths and Legends 11-19-08
The Sasquatch Triangle was pretty good, a special Wednesday night show where Don had an open-mic show where he discussed some recent developments at Salt Fork State Park as far as activity from this past weekend. He also had me on (I called in) to discuss the Tv Land program from tonight, as well as sightings in England and also he asked me if I thought Diane Stocking would be a great speaker for next year if Don holds another Conference. It was a good but short show (30 minutes). Tomorrow night, Don will be hopefully having a show with guest Linda Coil-Suchy, author of an upcoming book coming out next Spring titled Who's Watching You?, beginning at 9:00 EST/8:00 Central. On TV Land's Myths and Legends, there was a short segment on the Patterson/Gimlin Movie, where they interviewed Greg Long, the author of The Making of Bigfoot, along with Bob Heironimus, the man claimed to have been in the suit, and also Philip Morris, the man who claimed he made the suit. Wil Wheaton and Rolanda Watts were also interviewed on their impressions on the film. M.K. Davis was granted about 30 seconds on the show to talk about his work on the film, as well as some of his enhancements which were shown on the show. It was a pretty fair 5-minute segment, to be quite honest.

This was a pretty terrific show, an open-mic show with myself and Bill Green calling in and discussing various subjects in the world of Bigfoot, including about new sightings in Canada and England, and also about tomorrow night's TV Land's Myths and Legends segment on the P/G Movie and Philip Morris. Mike also played a couple of Iron Maiden songs, and also discussed some of his research and sighting reports in the Northeast. This was a really great show, with skeptical Cryptozoologist Ron Schaffner, who discussed his longtime research into Sasquatch (he says the P/G Movie is one case he thinks has some credibility), as well as his investigations into different sightings. Bill Green and I were the only callers, and Bill asked his standard question, and I asked about the giant bones found in Indian Mounds in northeast Ohio. DVD Review: In Pursuit of the Olympic Rainforest Sasquatch
This is a very good and interesting independent documentary produced by the Washington State Sasquatch Search Group (WSSSG) which focuses on 3 areas-the Quinault. Queet and Hoh River Rainforests on the Olympic Peninsula in Western Washington State. In the Quinault, there is not a great deal of ground to pick up footprints or other evidence. In the Queet, however, there is a good bit picked up, such as strange vocalizations and something in tall brush moving it around (this is caught on tape, but nothing is clearly seen on tape). Finally, in the Hoh River Rainforest, a bedding area is found, as well as footprints and impressions in the forest, along with partially eaten swordfern stalks. All in all, a very entertaining and informative documentary highlighting the work of an independent group. This documentary (along with the first production, On The Track of The Pacific Northwest Sasquatch) are both available at Western Digital Productions and the official website of the WSSSG is seen at The Washington State Sasquatch Search Group

A Haunted College -- Part 1 From the Shadows
Jason Offutt begins a tour of what is described as a haunted location, one of the halls of academia that reportedly exhibits all the signs of spectral presences. Key quote: "Like at any school, students have died while attending Northwest (Missouri State University), but here some still walk down its majestic halls." Jason Offutt should know what paranormal activities are underway at Northwest Missouri State University, though, because that's where he teaches Reading, Writing and Ghost Sightings. Review: Beyond The Edge Radio 11-14-08
This was a pretty good show, with a guest originally scheduled, but the guest never showed, so it was Sean and I for the first hour (with James Baker premiering the Bake Shop on BTER, now that it seems the SE has gone the way of the dodo), and basically Sean and I (joined by Monica before the second hour) did some discussions on different topics. Strange and Unusual from the chat called in, as did Bill Green, and also Ernie, a research partner of Sean's who discussed his paranormal research and his game cams set up in different areas. He and Monica traded ideas on game cams and how to set them up effectively. Dunno what is planned for next Friday, but it begins at 9:00 EST/8:00 Central.
