Reviews: HBM's Crypto-Corner and The Bigfoot Mystery 7-13-08

HBM's Crypto-Corner was great, with our guest Janice Carter, who commented on the recent expedition the Searching For Bigfoot Team and the things they had happen in their time with Janice, as well as Thomas calling in and reporting some activity he and Rayduce came across just today where they got an audio recording of a possible juvenile saying "Momma!" I also got into the topic of telepathy of the Forest Giants with Jan, who described her experience with that, as did I, and Steve Abney also helped us out with that (thanks, Steve). Bill asked some pretty great questions too. The next show will air Sunday, July 27th, and I am working on getting a very special guest, who I am hoping will accept my invitation. Stay tuned to this blog for more information on it. Either way, the show will air at HBM's Crypto-Corner, Sunday afternoons at 5:00 EST/4:00 Central

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Over on the Bigfoot Mystery, Randy and Rich, previous guests, returned and did a great job, discussing their research as well as some things they have observed in their research. Bill Green and Thomas were callers, and asked various questions, and Randy and Rich did a great job in their presentations on the air. We also discussed the Sierra Sounds and the English language heard in there, such as when Robert W. Morgan heard one say "You're Not Welcome." Dunno what Darin, Janice and myself have planned for next week, but it starts at 7:00 EST/6:00 Central at The Bigfoot Mystery, Sunday evenings at 7:00 EST/6:00 Central

You can also download past episodes at each site, as well as subscribe via iTunes. And as always, we encourage you to please tune in and support great research.
The last of those intrepid Almasty seekers are returning to England this weekend, bringing the Centre for Fortean Zoology more camera trap shots, more hair samples, possible Almasty fingerbones and more thrilling tales. Wouldn't you like to be a fly on the wall at Heathrow Airport when the Customs Official holds up some possible Almasty dung and asks, "What's this?" Elsewhere on the hairy hominoid scene, Cryptomundo revisits a recent photo with new supporting photos to lend perspective in Mt. Hood Bigfoot Reference Photos. Meanwhile, the search for a possibly extinct bird continues, as shown in In Search of the Elusive Ivory-billed Woodpecker.

Book Review: Scweneyti and the Stick Indians of the Colvilles by Dr. Ed Fusch

This short manuscript, a scant 43 pages, is full of great information about the Scweneyti (pronounced Chan Yee Tee), a Native American name for the Forest Giants, translating to "tall, hairy, smells like burnt hair,"which describes many accounts of meetings between Native Americans in the American Northwest and their hairy cousins. It also describes other names for these hairy hominids, such as Skanicum and Choanito (skanicum translates to "Stick Indian" and Choanito translates to "Night People"). The most prevailing trait among all these tribes is that they all were of the belief that these are not large apes, but large hairy humans. I do recommend this manuscript if you can find it. I would give it about a 4 1/2 stars rating.

Review: The Bill Green Show 7-12-08

This was a terrific show, discussing some new movies that are coming out, as well as new DVD's and of course, the main topic was Bigfoot, which Bill discussed in depth, referring to a supposed claim of a dead body in Georgia and also a report Bill received from a person in New Mexico which he forwarded to several of us. I and John Cartwright called in and discussed different things, including a possible sighting of a Great White Shark off the coast of Martha' Vineyard, the same location where the film Jaws was filmed. Dunno what Bill and Sean have planned for their next show, but it airs on July 21st at 10:00 EST/9:00 Central at The Bill Green Show, Monday Mornings at various times

You can also download past episodes there, as well as subcribe via iTunes. And as always, we encourage you to please tune in and support great research.
Illinois wildlife officials are skeptical of the several reported sightings of a large black cat in Alton."I'd feel better about it if it wasn't black," said a regional wildlife biologist. "I don't know what to think about it being black. Big black cats are not native to North America." Elsewhere there have been Mountain lion sighting reported in Danville, a residential area in East Bay, California.
A seven-foot Sasquatch was spotted near Chilliwack, on Mount Cheam, last month. But the man who reported the sighting, an avid hunter, wishes to remain anonymous. In other news at Cryptomundo, we have a Serval Caught in Atlanta, Martha Vineyard’s Great White: 1 Real, 1 Hoax, and Cryptozoology Talks Near You. PS: Join us in wishing Loren Coleman a Happy Birthday today!

Review: Beyond The Edge Radio 7-11-08

This was a terrific show, with guest Tim Yancey, who discussed the investigation he has done into the Amityville Horror case, working closely with the principal protagonist in that ordeal, George Lutz, before his death just two short years ago, and dispelling the myths and legends surrounding that controversial case. Tim discussed how there were certain aspects of the story that were exaggerated in the novel and also in the movie, but for the most part it was factual. I called in in the second hour to ask about those very myths and legends, as well as Bill Green calling in to discuss (what else?) Bigfoot, and Kelly from the PBS discussed some aspects of the case, as well as some paranormal cases past and present. Next week, author George Knapp joins the Beyond The Edge Radio crew to discuss his book Hunt For The Skinwalkers about the happenings at the Skinwalker Ranch related to UFOs, Aliens and even a few Forest Giants and werewolves, beginning at 9:00 EST/8:00 Central at Beyond The Edge Radio, Friday Nights at 9:00 EST/8:00 Central

You can also download past episodes there, as well as subscribe via iTunes. And remember, Beyond The Edge Radio: If you're not listening, well, you're just stupid. As always, we encourage you to please tune in and support great research.
Does someone have a body already? Has a Bigfoot been killed with a .30-06 bullet? What are we to make of this breaking news, tied to getting expedition subscribers and selling tee-shirts? In Edmonton, Canada, they're talking Monster experts tell all, about the The Royal Alberta Museum's "Here be Dragons ... and Other Creatures" lecture series, where Loren Coleman will be speaking on July 20th. And in Adam Davies on the Almasty, the globe trotting cryptozoologist and author of Extreme Expeditions has just returned from the CFZ expedition and is interviewed by Nick Redfern about what they found.

Book Review: Soul Snatchers: A Quest For True Human Beings By Robert W. Morgan

Absolutely wonderful tome, really well-written!!!!!!

I finished this book in four days, and what a terrific journey the author takes us on. From the deserts of New Mexico, where he gets guidance from a 102-year-old Native American named Nino Cochise, to the Swamps of Florida, where he meets a most unusual evangelist and has encounters with things he cannot explain, to the wilds of Washington State, where he and his team experiment with a method known as "dowsing" to attempt to track the Forest Giants, Robert W. Morgan has had a life's journey most would be rather envious of. He has met with Native American elders, elderly cowboys who were around in the time of the Wild West, disbelieving skeptics, scientists and other luminaries, and over his life's journey, he has experienced unusual phenomenon, which may or may NOT be connected to the Forest Giant People (Bigfoot, Sasquatch, Omah-ah, Dsonoqua and many other variations of names for these unique beings). Morgan writes in a style of absolute comfort and a sense as if he is sharing private secrets around a campfire. The only rating I can give on this book is an 11 out of 10!!!!!! GET THIS BOOK!!!!!! It is available at Product Listing - and is terrific for Summer reading, or for curling up beside a roaring fire in colder weather.
