Road Trip: Day 1

Well, after a grueling 8-hour trip up the Natchez Trace Parkway, through east Mississippi, into a corner of Alabama and finally up to Nashville (with enough curves on the road between Alabama and Nashville to keep John Cartwright busy, heh), Buffalo Hump and I made it to Janice Carter's house in Rockwood, Tennessee, and it was a great trip. I was fed, and have pretty much free reign of the house. There is a gorgeous mountain vista right across the road, and it greets you as you drive into town. More tomorrow.

Review: Sasquatch Experience 5-11-08

This was a GREAT show, with guests Don Keating and Eric Altman, who discussed activity in Pennsylvania and Ohio, as well as the 20th-Annual Ohio Bigfoot Conference and the East Coast Bigfoot Conference. John Cartwright sat in as a guest-co-host because Melissa was once again sick (poor thing), and several folks called in, including Bill Green, Thomas Hughes and Washingtonian who asked various questions of the guests. James and John asked some really great questions as well. Next week, the show will run a Sasquatch Experience Flashback due to me being in Ohio and Melissa being in the field on a TBRC expedition, but the show will be back live in two weeks on May 25th at 9:00 EST/8:00 Central at The Sasquatch Experience

He also discussed activity at Salt Fork State Park, such as sightings and footprint activities. Review: Bigfoot Comedy Hour with Indy and Charles 5-10-08

This was a pretty funny show, which I only caught the last half-hour of, but it consisted of what is popularly known as the "Stupid Files," which consisted into some really goofy stories in the news. Before I called in at the last few seconds of the show, Charles began discussing the Bossburg tracks, and I called in to say hello quickly and tell Indy I would see him in Ohio next week. It seems unlikely there will be a show next week because Indy will be at the Ohio Conference, but if there is, it will begin at 10:00 EST/9:00 Central at http://www.blogtalkradio.com/USBIGFOOTRESE...SSOCIATIONRADIO

Review: Beyond The Edge Radio 5-9-08

This was a GREAT show, with guest The Bigfoot Bulldog himself Don Keating, who discussed in the first hour some sighting reports in the Buckeye State, as well as his personal encounters. He also discuused the area known as the Sasquatch Triangle, and also his radio show on NowLive.com. I called in, as well as Bill Green, and asked various questions. Brian Seech called in also and told of some incidents that occurred at Salt Fork State Park, as did Smiter. I think someone else called in, but I can't remember who. The second hour was devoted to the 20th-Annual Ohio Bigfoot Conference, which is a week away, and the speakers list and some of the events which will take place there. Next Friday, Eric will be live from the Conference, and he and Sean will have Paul Schroeder on to discuss aliens and alien abductions, beginning at 9:00 EST/8:00 Central at http://anomalis.weebly.com/beyond-the-edge-radio.html You can also download past episodes there, as well as subscribe via iTunes. Review: The Sasquatch Triangle 5-8-08

This was a great show, with guest Kathy Strain, who discussed her research into Bigfoot, as well as her upcoming book Giants, Cannibals and Monsters: Bigfoot In Native Culture which is coming from Hancock House sometime late this month of early next month. I called in and asked her about the book, as well as if she was familiar with another book coming out from HH about the history of Bigfoot from 1958 to today. She was not. Don also of course, discussed the upcoming Conference and some events surrounding it. Smiter also called in and discussed various things with Kathy. Dunno if there will be a show next week, because Don has to pick up Dr. Jeff Meldrum from the airport, but if there is, it begins at 9:00 EST/8:00 Central at The Sasquatch Triangle, Now On NowLive.com

You can also listen to and download past episodes there. And as always, we encourage you to please tune in and support great research.
