Loren Coleman adds some wisdom to a columnist's sad post that describes how one of the columnist's college friends had died in the wilderness, apparently on a lonely quest for evidence of Bigfoot in California. Did columnist Barry Kaufman "mix up mental illness with subject matter" as Coleman suggests? Did Kaufman cross the line in suggesting his friend's death was the result of an interest in Bigfoot? Elsewhere, Dale Drinnon offers a wealth of information on Bigfoot-type creatures in Australia's Bush Apes. And a recent posting on unrecognized creatures spotted in the vicinity of one particular Ohio town sparked comments to Drinnon, leading him to post The Creatures That Came to Toledo, Part 2. Meanwhile, more than thirty people showed up over the past weekend in Wilkes County, NC, to search for Bigfoot, as reported in 'The Missing Link is Out Here'. Also, recent "Bownessie" film from England has led to the claim Mysterious Lake Creature 'May Be Floating Tyre'.
