Undetected Creatures Could Be Right In Front Of Me
Michael Greene has spent 20 years searching for Bigfoot and believes, along with many other Bigfoot enthusiasts, that he captured a thermal image of the giant apelike creature on the night of April, 28, 2009, in North Carolina's Uwharrie National Forest. Greene presented his thermal video at Bob Gimlin's birthday party in May of 2009, and Greene explains the background of the video in this publicity release. With link to Mike Greene's website where videos are presented to demonstrate the way in which Greene's Bigfoot approached the bait he left for it. There's a link at the site to see the thermal video, itself, for a small fee of $2.00.

Background: Two giants of Sasquatch research will be at the museum hosting an audience discussion of all things Sasquatch. Dr. Jeffrey Meldrum and Robert Gimlin will be discussing their collected evidence, taking audience questions, and meeting with attendees.
Dr. Jeffrey Meldrum, of Idaho State University and author of Sasquatch: Legend Meets Science, is frequently seen on the Discovery Channel, the History Channel, and theNational Geographic Channel among others. His book is the companion volume to the highly successful Discovery Channel documentary of the same name. A professor of anatomy and anthropology, his work encompasses the evaluation of hominid footprints, including those attributed to Sasquatch, both in the lab and the field. The Giants in the Mountains: The Search for Sasquatch exhibit features casts Dr. Meldrum made in Eastern Washington.
Robert Gimlin and the late Roger Patterson filmed the infamous piece of Sasquatch evidence known as the Patterson-Gimlin film, notably frame 352, made in northern California. This film features a female Bigfoot striding next to a sandy creek. Expedition partner Robert Gimlin will discuss his experience on the Bluff Creek expedition and the famous encounter on the trail, made immortal in the 24 feet of film Patterson recorded.

Sasquatch and the U. S. Government Phantoms & Monsters
Lon Strickler brings together some interesting reports of Bigfoot bodies being pulled from the devastation caused by the eruption of Mt. St. Helens in Washington State on May 18, 1980. According to unsubstantiated but continuing commentary by various Bigfoot researchers, there is anecdotal reference to government agencies recovering the bodies of some Bigfoot among the bodies of other animals killed when the mountain erupted. Is the U. S. government interested in Sasquatch/Bigfoot?

The Night of the Chupacabras (2000) Inexplicata
In one of the most in depth accounts of the chupacabras phenomenon ever presented, Scott Corrales of the Hispanic Institute of UFOlogy gives the history of a cryptid that may have had its origins in Puerto Rico, although Corrales points out that there were similar savage attacks by unidentified creatures prior to Puerto Rico's chupacabras explosion in 1995. Corrales follows the legend of "The Goatsucker" as it makes its way to Mexico, Central and South America, Spain, Portugal and the United States. Since Corrales first assembled his information about this mystery beast, has anyone come forward with an identification for the chupacabras? A trailcam captured an image in an area of New Zealand known as Fiordland. In 1910, some North American moose were released into the New Zealand wild, but one has not been spotted since 1952. Is the animal in the captured photo a juvenile moose? Elsewhere, more imported animals may be on the loose, this time in England's Shropshire Forest, and the news isn't being celebrated. In fact, columnist Mark Fletcher reveals he should apologize for speaking out about the existence of the animals in question anywhere in the United Kingdom, despite having gathered evidence he was wrong in his claims, as he explains in Leopards and Other Big Cats ARE on the Loose in Britain - Just Don't Tell a Soul.
