Dr. Karl Shuker, in his capacity as cryptozoology contributor to the 2007 publication Chambers Dictionary of the Unexplained, sought to define the Irish lake monster alleged to have killed Grace Connolly in 1722. Now an account of a similar creature has emerged from a 1575 publication that traced the history of Scotland. Can the fierce creature said to have slain Grace Connolly have been so widespread as to occupy Scottish lake waters, too? Elsewhere, Dale Drinnon reveals his own "Thunderbird" sighting in discussing a group member's sighting of a large bird and throws in a river monster report, too, as seen in The Creatures That Came To Toledo, with images. Drinnon also has information on the J'Ba FoFi, reported to inhabit the jungles of the central region of the Dark Continent, in African Giant Spider Invasion. Meanwhile, Loren Coleman answers a question he is often asked in "No New Animals Are Discovered in the USA, Right?" With photos.
