Review: Monsterquest 4-15-09

This was a fair to good episode about something called the Lake Demon, the Ogopogo, a serpentine creature in Lake Okanagan in British Columbia, Canada. Several witnesses are interviewed who have seen the alleged lake monster, and also photos are shown that were taken in 2008, as well as film footage taken of alleged Ogopogos, which are examined and determined to be a bit inconclusive. There is also what appears to be a baby Ogopogo corpse found at the bottom of the lake, which is brought to the surface and determined to be nothing more than a mundane animal. There are several divers down in the lake to see about perhaps having a sighting, but nothing is found. Next week focuses on Sea Monsters, beginning at 9:00 EST/8:00 Central on History.
