Review: Jeff Meldrum Mid-Tarsal Break Presentation Texas Bigfoot Conference 2005

This presentation, which Richard Noll shot and has graciously put on YouTube, is really great and well-done by Dr. Meldrum about the mid-tarsal break as found in primate feet, and this is compared to Sasquatch tracks, more especially the ones cast by Bob Titmus at the Patterson/Gimlin Movie filmsite October 29, 1967. Meldrum describes footprint morphology relating to the MTB regarding chimpanzees and experiments he took part in at SUNY Stonybrook with a chimp named Jason with a rather humorous anecdote added to the story. He goes on in the presentation to describe the MTB in relation to the Sasquatch, and also shares that his wife and sons can curl their toes underneath their feet because of extremely long toe stems and extreme flexibility in their feet. He discusses the MTB in relation to the P/G Movie tracks and goes into the explanation of them thereof. Really great presentation, and also terrific 24-like camera work and split-screen editing. I give this presentation a 4 3/4 out of 5 stars.
