Bigfoot Mania Comes to W.Va. The Register Herald
In the first of a two-part series, reporter Christian Giggenbach examines the legend of Bigfoot, trying to ascertain why an international group of Bigfoot researchers thinks it can find evidence of the hairy homenoid in the Mountain State. The "international" group that will be conducting the search for Bigfoot in West Virginia is the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization (BFRO), "an Internet-based community of scientists and journalists (that) has compiled the world's most extensive database of Bigfoot encounters and evidence..." according to the article. The BFRO excursion takes place April 10-13 at an undisclosed location within the state.
