One of the biggest mysteries in both the archaeology world and the world of anomalies is the possibility of the Smithsonian hiding evidence of ancient giants in America. Digging into the archives of the Smithsonian records, Micah Hanks finds proof that 19th century archaeologists did indeed unearth bones of possible giant humans with height measurements of 7 to 8 feet. However, the bones were reported to be in bad condition and crumbling so that is likely the reason why there are no bones in existence today. In the century since that time, the bones crumbled to dust, the records were buried deep under decades of other writings, and the legend of the giants grew to epic proportion, Hanks explains, and thus a modern day myth was born.
