A 110 million-year-old plant eating dinosaur with a mouth made for vacuuming up plant matter has been unearthed in the Sahara Desert and named Nigersaurus taqueti in honor of the country in which it was found and French paleontologist Philippe Taquet. And from Cryptomundo, another dinosaur find, but this time from "the dungeon": Doctoral Pupil & Darren Discover Dino, with photos.

Recent film of an unknown creature or creatures in a volcanic lake on the border of the People's Republic of China and North Korea has supposedly been explained by 77-year-old Kim Li-tae, who claims to be one of the researchers who released nine trout into Tianchi Lake in 1960. Could these trout have "mutated" to the form seen in the recent film? With photo.
