Beyond The Edge Radio Tomorrow...

Tune in this Friday night at 9:00 pm est for two hours of paranormal pandemonium. We have two great guests on this Friday night as Rick Fisher our very first guest on Beyond The Edge Radio returns for hour number one. In hour number two Craig Telesha paranormal investigator and author will join us. It is sure to be a night of fun filled paranormal as Sean, Eric and Joe welcome Rick Fisher and Craig Telesha to the show Friday night and we all take another trip, "Beyond the edge!"

Rick Fisher:

Rick Fisher has had an interest in the paranormal since an early age when he saw what he believes to have been a ghost. Since then Rick has spent much of his life in search of answers into the unknown. Rick’s journey has taken him to interesting places and has given him the opportunity to meet interesting people. In 1997 he founded the Pennsylvania Ghost Hunters Society which is now the Paranormal Society of Pennsylvania and investigates reported hauntings, strange creatures, UFO’s, mysterious places, and unexplained phenomena.

An innovator in modern ghost hunting techniques, Rick was the first ghost hunter to use a digital camera, digital recorder, motion sensors, and surveillance cameras when conducting investigations of reported haunted places. His techniques are used by many paranormal groups. Rick teaches classes on Paranormal Investigations at a local community college and has conducted hundreds of investigations. Rick has appeared on such programs as the Travel Channel's "Ghosts of Gettysburg" and "Supernatural Destinations" as well as local TV, numerous newspapers, books, magazines and radio programs.

Rick is the owner and operator of Fisher Productions and he hosts a Haunted Workshop and the annual Paranormal Pennsylvania Conference each year along with walking and driving ghost tours of Lancaster County, PA. Rick is a frequent lecturer on the subject of the paranormal having lectured for schools, libraries, civic organizations and conferences. Rick is written about or mentioned in many books on the paranormal. His story telling presentations of "Ghosts of the River Towns" and "Haunted Tales of Lancaster County" has won praise from many organizations. Rick is the editor and publisher of the Paranormal Pennsylvania Magazine and authoer of "Ghosts of the River Towns." Rick was a guest for a special chat session on spirit photography on James Van Praagh's chat room and is currently enrolled in a certificate program in in paraspychological studies from HCH institute with famed ghost hunter and parapsychologist Loyd Auerbach as the instructor.

In Rick's spare time, he enjoys reading and listening to stories on the paranormal and visiting haunted and mysterious places. Rick is a Reiki Master/Teacher, herbalist and shaman practitioner.

Rick is a member of the Pennsylvania Bigfoot Society and has conducted several field expeditions to an area where sightings of Bigfoot have been reported. Rick has organized an expedition with several research groups to investigate the mysterious stone chambers of Putnam County, NY and is currently involved in an an on going EVP project. '

Although Rick's main interests are Ghosts, he currently is investigating the supposed landing of a UFO in a silt pond in Carbondale, PA in 1974 and hopes to write a book about the incident.

In July 2004, Rick was honored at the national Paranormal Awards conference held in Baltimore, MD hosted by the Maryland Paranormal Investigators Coalition and received the 2004 special achievement award in paranormal research.

For several years Rick has been collecting various items and artifacts related to the paranormal and other unexplained mysteries in an attempt to preserve some of histories mysteries. He is the founder, executive director and curator of the national museum of mysteries and research center, a non profit organization which is in its beginning stages.

Craig Telesha:

Craig Telesha has been interested in technology and its internal working almost all of his life. From an early age, he has been dismantling and learning about every electronic device that crossed his pathe and earned a local reputation as "the guy who can fix just about anything." In his early teens, Craig became interested in paranormal phenomenon after reading various books based on psycho kinetic energy and psychic awareness.

While attending a paranormal conference in early 2000 and discovering a need for more technical information to be made available to the paranormal community, he combined these two interests and started the web site "Ghost tech", with the mindset of demystifying the the technology behind the devices used for paranormal investigations. Since then Telesha has been using his talents to modify every day devices for use in paranormal investigations and even designing a few of his own. He currently holds the title as technical director for the spirit society of Pennsylvania which is headed up by founders Kelly and John Weever. Craig is also the author of "Strange Frequencies - A practical Guide to the Paranormal Technology."

Bigfoot Researchers Study Sand Mountain Sand Mountain Reporter

Elusive Primates of North America (EPNA), an Alabama Bigfoot research organization, has completed two investigations of a heavily wooded area near Sand Mountain in the northeastern section of the state. The January expedition only turned up vocalizations, but the February outing turned up a large handprint. Has EPNA found a Bigfoot handprint? Review: Monsterquest 3-18-09

This was kind of a boring episode despite the premise of it, being that it was searching for a giant, perhaps 60-70-foot long Great White Shark, with much the same folks who also searched for the Giant Squid on two previous episodes from Seasons 1 and 2, and there were eyewitness accounts given regarding seeing what is called a "Black Demon" in the sea off the Baja Peninsula in Mexico, a large shark which may live in the Mariana Trench. There was some efforts made to attempt to see it and perhaps film it, but nothing successful. They even searched from the air and got no results. Still, I would give it about a 3 out of 5 stars. Not necessarily one of the better MQ episodes, but not the worst either. Next week, Hairy Hominids come into play once again, with an episode examining Bigfoot encounters in Indiana, Washington State and Minnesota, titled Monster Close Encounters, beginning at 9:00 EST/8:00 Central on History. Check local listings for time and channel.
