Book Review: Legend of the Grassman: The Bigfoot of Salt Fork State Park by Joedy Cook

This is a terrific book on the Ohio Grassman, their version of Sasquatch or Bigfoot, which covers sightings within the largest State Park in the Buckeye State, as well as a few outside the Park and a bit of local history in the area known as the "Sasquatch Triangle." The sightings are recent up to about 2008, and Joedy really writes with the experience of a veteran researcher. The last chapter deals with an American Bigfoot Society expedition within the park in 2009 which seemed to garner some interesting activity, including possible eyeshine, rocks thrown and sounds. This book is sold at the Salt Fork State Park Lodge gift shop and is also available on Amazon. I do recommend this book quite highly, especially for those looking for local reports to the Buckeye State, more particularly the east central part of the State. 9 1/2 out of 10.
