On the Track of the Water-Bull Frontiers of Zoology
The famous British explorer Col. Percy Fawcett thought the three-toed tracks he and his men discovered in the swampy jungles of the Bolivia - Brazil border in 1907 were made by a giant reptile. Dale Drinnon says the three-toed tracks Fawcett discovered might more likely be another ancient animal, believed to be extinct, as seen in his report on possible remnant megafaunal Toxodons in South America. Also, Drinnon reposts a December 8, 2010, Cryptozoology Online report from Raheel Mughal, MSc, and adds his own comments in Congo: Lesser Known Mystery Beasts from the Heart of Darkness. Elsewhere, concluding a two-part series honoring John Green, as part of the reporting of last weekend's Sasquatch Summit in British Columbia, Paul J. Henderson offers 'Don't Tease' the Sasq'ets. Meanwhile, Nick Redfern examines the evidence for Britain'’s Paranormal Big Cats, Dr. Karl Shuker salutes Richard Muirhead's new publishing venture in Flying Snakes - A New Cryptozoological Journal, and Loren Coleman notes a new edition of a book by Father of Cryptozoology Bernard Heuvelmans and Russian hominologist Boris Porchnev in Minnesota Iceman: New Color Photos, New Book.
