Welcome one of our own, Anthony Yawn from the Alabama- Georgia Bigfoot Research Group. The Alabama-Georgia Bigfoot Research Group are a small but intensely dedicated band of researchers, comprised of family members and close friends. After having two encounters of which he has no proof of what he saw, Anthony began his search to find the proof that such a creature exists for his own peace of mind. Hoping to prove it to the world as well, he and his team search for proof positive that Big Foot lives. Like many other groups investigating in our nation, the Alabama-Georgia Bigfoot Research Group sets a common example of the pioneering efforts of our nation’s researchers to seek out through evidence and interaction the existence of Bigfoot in their state. Their upcoming video is about to be finished and more can be learned about this special group at: http://ag-bigfoot-research.tripod.com/index.html Be sure to join us this Sunday as we welcome Mr. Anthony Yawn and some never before heard accounts on Nite Callers Radio as the first show of Nite Callers Search for the American Bigfoot Researcher Series begins. And as always, we encourage you to please tune in and support great research.

Museum Heckler Cryptomundo
Loren Coleman has put much work into the Portland, ME, International Cryptozoology Museum. Coleman's years of collecting and long days of cataloguing and presenting cryptozoology-related items for the museum may have taken something of an undeserved shot to the solar plexus from the blogger who yesterday posted The Decade in Cryptozoology: Fun, Frivolity and Frustration. Coleman takes this opportunity to reply to the blogger's remarks. Will there be a further reply from the anonymous blogger? With photos. Meanwhile, there's a new explanation for a recent marine mystery, as reported in MonsterQuest Water Mystery Solved. With image. Elsewhere, in one we missed ten days ago, a travel magazine relates some tales of a cryptid in Alaska's Creature of Cryptozoology The Hairy Man - The Urayuli.

Chris Lofft, Producer
BASE Productions, Inc.
For some time now Todd Standing has been telling the tale of a mysterious North American valley known as "Sylvanic" by the "Native American" people he says gave it the name. Recently, Javier Ortega wrote about Standing's claims that the secret valley holds a Bigfoot population, as seen in Sylvanic Bigfoot, What's the Story? Now Ortega and one of his readers seek to uncover whether the Sylvanic Bigfoot story has any basis in fact. Here's what they've uncovered so far. Meanwhile, the last ten years of cryptid research are reviewed in The Decade in Cryptozoology: Fun, Frivolity and Frustration.

There's some footage of a "snow type creature" presented here by Loren Coleman. What do you think? Plenty of fans of the website responded to that video, as seen in "Seems To Be A Hoax But It's A Neat Video". Meanwhile, recent moves at the Cryptomundo website are explained by Craig Woolheater in Changes at Cryptomundo. There's also some video of the New IMAX Enhancements of "Backpack Bigfoot" and news video of "the nicest guys in Sasquatch research" in The Survival of Sasquatch.

IMAX footage update:

According to the footage above, it is confirmed to be a crew member, as seen on the Blu-Ray of the documentary Great North. Oh, well, better luck next time.

The Paradox of Contemporary Paranormal Research Chris Holly's Paranormal World
Chris Holly presents the work of Michael Kundu who has written a penetrating essay about the state of paranormal research. She introduces Kundu's essay with the observation that "(W)e have an endless pit of strange things happening with very little understanding or research being done to discover what, who and why these things occur." She then presents a shortened version of Kundu's presentation, providing a link to the full report later. Kundu gives a brief history of the research into the paranormal, beginning in the 19th century, remarking, "Inevitably, over time, the realization of an emergent absence of quantifiable evidence has largely resulted in the modern reduction of most public institutional funding and continual research." Kundu goes on to note the emergence of amateur paranormalists, as seen on television, saying their efforts have been helpful in raising public awareness, but have "worked to the detriment of the continuing genuine research being conducted in the paranormal field." Does Kundu have any suggestions for repairing the broken status of paranormal research?
Dr. Karl Shuker reveals some interesting findings made by American cryptozoologist Todd Jurasek during a 2002 trip to New Guinea. Juracek interviewed members of two tribes near the Sepik River, coming up with information about giant monitor lizards, giant snakes, a lion-sized cat and what might be a large canine cryptid. According to Dr. Shuker, "the most extraordinary information obtained from these interviews concerned an alleged bigfoot-like man-beast". Known to some tribes as the Kayadi, could the New Guinea ape-man be related to the Australian Yowie, Sumatra's orang pendek or any of the other "man-beasts" reported from the major island groups in the vicinity of New Guinea? Elsewhere, in a story that might explain the connections, if there are any, between the bigfoot-like creatures in the New Guinea vicinity, ScienceNews is reporting Ancient Hominids May Have Been Seafarers.

Please join your hosts Bob Coyne and Mike Killen as we welcome Jimmy Chilcutt to the show. Mr. Chilcutt worked as a latent fingerprint examiner and crime scene investigator for the Conroe, Texas Police Dept and holds a Texas issued Master Police Officer Certification. In December 1998, after seeing Dr. Jeff Meldrum on a TV show, he contacted Dr. Meldrum and arranged to look at his collection of tracks in April 2000. After carefully examining the tracks, he became convinced that an unknown primate species exists in North America. This is sure to be an interesting and informative interview! If you can, please join us in our live show chat. It's always a lot of fun and we love to interact live with our listeners. And as always, we encourage you to please tune in and support great research.
